Spider-Man 2 with fidelity and 120 hz is glorious.
Makes me feel like a commoner not having a 120hz tv because fidelity looks so much better . Def need to get an upgrade holiday season or next year
Made the upgrade early in the year. I doubt most games moving forward that are next gen will be utilizing it anymore but Halo at 120 fps is a treat and of course Insominiac always delivers for the TV/Monitor enthusiast crowd.
Yeah, I hear you . I had a good tv at the time that is still good, and I had it since like 2017 or 18. However, i do want get an upgrade because it feels like itâs time . However, like youâve said not many games using 120/40
Plenty take advantage of VRR though

E.T. of this generation.
Well, 9+ hours into the game and things do open up more as you advance the story missions. I have completed 10 story missions thus far, all of which are pretty damn good and is 33% completion. I have 20% overall completion. There seems to be a side quest story line thatâs solid thus far and want to see where it goes and if thereâs any pay off.
There are a few other side activities that im enjoying but wonât mention but majority are just to get the XP and resources needed for upgrading and whatnot. Visually, the game looks superb and while it takes some getting used to controlling it, the wing suit is a good addition. Best aspect of the game is the combat as itâs really good and playing on hard difficulty, enemies pack a punch. A few hits and I can easily die. So itâs definitely more challenging than the previous two games but you do have a lot more attacks and stuff you can do during combat so it evens it out.
Regarding bugs and glitches, I have seen what Niko and others have posted on Twitter but thus far, the only âbugâ I have had is vehicles materializing out of nowhere but it was just one time. Havenât come across it since. Other than that, I havenât had any whatsoever and no crashes. I do have the current patch installed since I bought the game digitally.
I will say that itâs definitely a spectacle which isnât a surprise as majority of Sonyâs games usually have some amazing set pieces. Done for today but will be playing again tomorrow and I am on vacation for 10 days so I should definitely be able to get through the entire game before I go back to work. Will post more tomorrow in the âcurrently playingâ topic.
I just had a 20 minute battle with a wine bottle. Apparently I lost my corkscrew opener, but I did have some screws and a hammer! Needless to say, I need to buy a new opener.
lol I started spiderman 2 thinking it cant be that glitchy then at the start of the game im fighting the first major boss and it wont accept the triangle input for a finisher so i had to die and reload for it to work. this is 10 min in
THe game is nice so far, but itâs kinda crazy that reviewers mention bugs for certain games and others they donât.
That sounds good man. As for the bugs, weâve seen with many games that not everyone will have them as bad or at all. Cyberpunk comes to mind, seeing all those clips of bugs and then I saw posters here that I trust saying they had not encountered any of such things. Or the lots of hate older BGS games always get, and sure I had bugs, but nowhere near as bad as I read.
Yeah, thatâs my problem with it. It has like 90+ reviews, there is no way they didnât have these kinds of bugs. The things I am seeing really are very similar to the weird bugs we saw in the Cyberpunk clips.

I probably would replace Starfield with Cyberpunk though. Or did reviews actually dump on it for bugs? Iâve read zero reviews of it myself.
For the most part, the lack of bugs was one of the biggest positives for reviewers. Dozens went on record to say it was the least buggiest Bethesda game they ever reviewed.

âLayoff was Xbox exclusive!â
But seriously, this hurts.
Xbox is on a hot streak!
Halo Infinite is now at #17 most played in USA. LETâS GO!!!
Forza Motorsport remain at #11.
OW2 remain at #12.
Warzone remain at #2.
Forza Horizon climbs to #16.
Diablo IV climbed out of the grave and back to #31. Game Pass canât come soon enough.
Yeah, I guess the lower numbers because of stuff they didnât like, but also bias, nobody can convince me that didnât take place at all. And absolutely unrealistic expectations for the game.
The other day I saw some folks talking about how they disliked that you canât fly and land on planets and take off in real time. I then said that Todd never showed this at the Direct and that he said during interviews after the Direct that this wouldnât be in the game. The response wasâŚhe still should have been more clear on it during the Direct.
Also too much a focus on what it doesnât have and do, instead of focusing on what it does do and has.
I can already sense next year will be a great year for Xbox.

That explains Destiny 2 being solid and how itâs not anymore.
I kid I kidâŚâŚâŚ
Iâll spare Klobrille some time:
High Moon Studios worked on some of the best Destiny campaigns like Taken King too.
I know you are kidding but itâs more truth than anything. Activision provided Bungie with loads of help. Vicarious Visions also helped with Destiny 2 before the Bungie split.
Once Bungie broke up with Activision, I started playing Destiny a lot less. Last thing I played was the expansion that was on Game Pass. I had to force myself to finish it.
