I also think Xbox should focus on delivering great content and games for the rest of the gen, before putting out a new hardware SKU just to make developments harder than they already are.
Remember power advantage narrative is important to a point and for certain, lets say, aficionados.
Switch is technically a potato, but has phenomenal games and is still selling like hotcakes.
The media and fanboys always praise the quality of Sony exclusives to the high heavens. Dissing Bethesda by calling them Bugthesda and what not, always priding on super polished games. This ainât that though.
Iâll bet people are baffled that $70 didnât change anything in bug/glitch department. Itâs like every game is now Skyrim at minimum, so you can only go down from there. Ironically, Starfield is among the few that launched pretty well.
I do find it funny no journalist will talk about this because we all know what happened with Starfield when glitches like that happened, but tbh I never encountered the glitches that went viral
You guys realize the most important video game reviewer on the internet is probably videogamedunkey and he actively avoids making videos on XGS titles because he got screwed over by Microsoft Studios way back in the day?
He might mention in his best of e3 videos âoh Ori looks goodâ but heâll never make a serious review for MS titles. If he did, it would probably cause a more positive change to Xboxs view by a lot of people on the internet. Most game enthusiast on the internet see dunkeys view as the be all end all for quality games.
I already thought all those 10s were ridiculous, but when I read this I canât help but find it even more ridiculous. A 10 truly is only reserved for something very special, something groundbreaking. Doesnât mean I wonât like the game, but it also sure doesnât sound worthy of 10s.
I look forward to reading what XboxEra posters say about the game.
I will always find Arkham City as the best because I didnât just feel like Iâm playing a core Batman game; felt like playing an outstanding game. Like Dark Knight the movie, itâs a superhero game in its own league.
