XboxEra Community Hangout |OT11| It Goes To 11!

Haven’t you heard, Xbox fans aren’t actually playing it, they just run it and let it open afk for 10 hours every day so that it registers long playtime

Will recommend a not so known game.

There is fishing adventure game called Dredge. Released this year and it’s a gem.

Sad thing is, I believe some will think this way.

At last.

Already did, they talked about it on XboxTwo

pretty much what I do whenever they pop up with their dumb looking thumbnails. Wish there was the ability to complete ly block certain channels for good.

Wait, that’s a real cultist talking point? lmao

Same. I’m very ready for more Gears of War now.

Personally, I thought Origins was the right direction. Odyssey felt experimental though good. Valhalla is too deep into that.

I have not played all of them, I’m trying to catch up to the series and played all games in order. Am halfway through Odyssey at the moment, took a pause for Starfield. Origins was great, Odyssey is even better with the series best protagonist in Kassandra. Valhalla should be great since if nothing else it’s my heritage they explore, so I’m biased there heh.

Imho, the new ones are great but so are the old style ones. I do not mind if they alternate between them. Mirage looks great, and I hear you can play it in a very good Arabic voiced version too. Immersion!

I was definitely a huge fan of AC Odyssey. Played for 100+hrs. However, I couldn’t get into Valhalla at all.

Mirage looks like a last gen game. From what I’ve saw it’s more for the pre Origin fans.

Origin was fun, Odyssey as well and from what I’ve read Valhalla is way too big and goes full into single player GaaS.

Not a talking point exactly but some Xbox YouTubers were accused of that apparently, at least that Colt guy when he was on Xboxtwo said that.

I’m still undecided if Hi-Fi Rush or Starfield is my favourite Xbox game this year.

I think Hi-Fi had the bigger impact on me but Starfield has consumed more of my time.

That’s the saddest thing I’ve read all day.

Cultists never stop surprising me. It’s astonishing how far they can take the art of grasping at straws.

Maybe audience now prefers games like AC origins/odyssey/valhalla.

Yeah, no shit

We can say whatever we say but wallets vote and people want huge and long games for their $60/$70

I just pre-ordered the Meta Quest 3 which releases next week. I’ll let you guys know my thoughts on it after I play Powerwashing Simulator VR which releases early next month.

Hi-Fi Rush came out of nowhere and was something I never knew I wanted.

suddenly cancelling projects that are years and years into development is a good thing even though these games almost always lead to people losing their jobs.

just some errant commentary on the industry

Might as well finish it and maybe you win some. Cancelling it is money waste, time waste, and worst of all, effort waste.
