There was really no need at all as it was 30fps, but now with 60 is a different thing and that should come. I hope at least they could make it FPS boost if possible otherwise just bring it to Xbox and PC.

They should def port it over because that’s BS that Microsoft doing something generous for their consumers is now screwing their consumers over.

Wasn’t this game prevented to do any boost from home team? Pretty nasty if nothing is done.

That’s what I imagined and that it would force people to buy it again for the 60fps, but maybe it just breaks with FPS boost and not because Rockstar prevented it

You know the sad thing is, this update actually tells you that they had no intention to do 60 FPS until backlash, so they have to be the “we hear you” position and add it in, only now they have to answer to Xbox fans. Maybe they should have been bought out by someone competent instead…

But why wouldn’t MS want the new version in their store too? Options are always good. DF also proved there are visual differences, small as they might be, they are visible.

If FPS boost can’t be done then hopefully this studio will bring it to Xbox after all. Fuck, this really sucks.

Take Two is greedy. Remember, Xbox has to receive permission to do boost and Take Two basically said no. Remember, Dark Souls 3 didn’t have boost until not only they got permitted but helped as well. The update is obviously “My bad” move since it pissed people off and they had no intention to add 60 FPS, especially when they had never advertise the case, let alone a coming soon feature. Now, it’s being seen as Xbox being played out, which is almost breaching a contract. Ironically, this is what Sony “believed” it would happen to CoD if Xbox owns them.

All in all, if nothing comes out of it, this is a shit show from Take Two.

Disagree, about only console warriors care. Xbox fans want 60fps update because that would be a great thing. Plus, they’re screwing over Xbox gamers because Microsoft took initiative to reward their consumers. They can at least port this version and give Xbox gamers a discount on upgrade or unlock find a way to get 60fps update on Xbox
