Yes! My son is going to love this. This is perfect for him, it will match his design lab controller, plus a new call of Duty comes out this year, perfect Christmas or birthday present (His birthday is nov10 so not sure if it will get here in time for his birthday).
Literally what I said earlier too
As both a former and a likely future Microsoft executive, Mike Ybarra cannot be trusted on the matter

Too ambition, go back to chore.
Sounds incredible! This is why Ubisoft needs a new owner (with big pockets) to bankroll creative projects like this. In their current state they are never going to get back to their heyday.
Actually sad that got cancelled
A few tidbits -

The Xbox console wraps is an excellent idea for all the reasons that @Knottian mentioned. Best of all, it can easily be removed and switched out at will.

The info on Immortals Fenyx Rising sequel sounded great and of course, it would be the game Ubisoft cancels. Just donāt understand Ubisoft sometimes. SMH.

Mr. Matty Plays posted his review for Immortals of Aveum last night and I would say that itās a swimming in 7ās type game. But he removed it because it appears the embargo is tonight or tomorrow. Very weird.

I cannot for the life of me find my post, but I could SWEAR that I posted that they should do this sort of thing instead of just making special edition consoles. If I didnāt post it, Iāve definitely meant to post it a few times now.
Itās less environmental impact, higher profit margin, takes up less space in warehouse / retail space, you can make more of them, people can easily swap them out & have multiplesā¦
This is absolutely the right way for them to go with these.
edit: here it is, I was thinking lower tech than this, but still:
This is⦠an interesting conversation. Iām 90 minutes into it. You can clearly see that Moriarty thinks āMicrosoft badā, sampled some random unrelated facts and stitched together an incredibly convoluted and contradictory world view around that premise. Rand cutting through to his bullshit is entertaining to listen to.
Will be watching this later tonight or tomorrow.
Wow
The shelf strikes back
Couldnāt watch this tbh. I find it really hard to sit through bad faith arguments. Though itās nice to hear he gets called out on them.
I donāt think these are bad faith arguments, he only spouts things that he sincerely believes in. Eg. Playstation fans convinced themselves that software sales on Xbox cratered since the introduction of Game Pass without ever having seen any data to support that premise. Rand pointing out that MS financials indicate that software sales steadily increased since the introduction of Game Pass was funny as Moriarty had no counterargument and had to come up with ridiculous dismissal not to let his worldview crumble.
I was interested on MGS2 but I am not sure if this version is the exact same as the HD collection one played on Series X or if it is worse.
The Dark Souls of Immortals? No thank you. Not everything has to copy the damn Souls formula.
Iāv seen enough of Colin to know heās either not arguing in good faith or he is completely and utterly ignorant on what heās talking about when it comes to Xbox topics
Thinking of buying a new headset. Is there a tangible difference in the wireless headset vs the stereo wired one ?
