The install base of the Playstation is high but misleading as those players regularly only play a few games. The attach rates must be low is millions of players only use the machine for CoD.
Late ports wonât cut it either, multiplat and day one has a huge impact especially on Steam.
They should. These staggered releases are stupid. Now they have to do marketing again for the PC release. Thats unnecessary expensive.
Exactly!
I say letâs have them announce FF7R, FF16, Trials of Mana, Live a Live and any other quality games at TGS for Xbox and PC and future release day and date. It should be a given, but it really isnât, yet. It does seem more hopeful than before however.
Itâs very hard to tell to be honest, iâd say 650-800K range, but it could end up beating BG3.
A LOT of people spent 60$ on Larianâs game just 1 month before Starfield, this wonât help, also the game is very very long, so many of these buyers will still be busy on early September.
Thereâs still a lot of people who either donât know about Starfield, or havenât heard enough about it, the E3 presentation was perfect, but that was 2 months ago and they went completely silent after that, i also donât expect a very big marketing campaign for the game, except on USA maybe.
I think Bethesdaâs game will have much better legs over the years tho
Some of you got to move passes marketing like itâs the 19 fucking '90s or early 2000s Sony goes balls to the walls and what just to sell what 5 million units hell you sell 20 after 2 years we got to move past that it ainât the early 2000s no more marketing tactics have changed
I think it will largely come down to how well itâs received, it will be huge regardless but early access/extra costs is a bit unpredictable
Without early access and just a simple Day 1 release I could easily have seen it do Cyberpunk numbers even with PC GP being a thing but early access could eat into that
But ultimately I think it will come down to itâs reception, if itâs received extremely well I can see it doing insane numbers even in EA but I also think doing FO4 numbers would still be really good considering itâs EA and is basically twice the cost of what FO4 was at release

Imagine this was the rumor led toâŚ
Yeah I see no point in comparing these. With Game Pass in the mix as well as staggered release itâs just not very useful.
LMFAO what a fucking joke. No enhancement, no nothing.
Itâs just a straight up port. You have got to be mad to buy that crap again.

When BC proves why itâs consumer friendly.
Lmfaooooooo
Well, glad I wasnât too hyped for this. This just showed that too much speculation isnât a good thing. Many thought this was going to be a remaster, some even entertained the idea it being RDR on the RDR2 engine.

Xbox somehow wins without doing anything. The biggest loser however is PC. Like wowâŚ
How is that game not on PC? But they did bring 2 to itâŚmake it make sense.
Might be true that the gameâs code is such a mess that they canât work it on PC or make a remastered
$50?
For a straight up port of a 12/13 year old game?
The Switch store page says they removed the multiplayer so the 360 BC version remains the definitive edition
A BC being a definitive edition was not on my bingo card.
