The Finals is looking really good. Hopefully, it ends up having a good F2P model. It seems like a shooter that is more interested in being fun than providing a super serious competitive environment, which is rare nowadays.

The destruction is a step up from the Battlefield franchise, and there seems to be a lot of creative weapons and gadgets like the goo/foam gun from Prey. It gives off strong Bad Company vibes imo, although I am not a fan of the sports-arena theming being used.

More like this is what MS wanted Crackdown 3 to be , but it was never meant to. Crackdown was about chasing agility orbs and climbing the agency tower by way of super powered platforming. Not bringing down skyscrapers.

Excellent, I’ve been waiting for Neon White on Xbox. Going by the other stores, it’ll cost $25.

I am waiting for it too though to be honest I am really cautious about the Xbox port seeing how badly they handled the PS5 version. Hopefully the Xbox versions are decent.

I honestly dont get the drama on series S. In my tiny and I guess stupid bubble I would think ppl would welcome having a cheaper alternative to enjoy a new generation of games. The truth is a some gamers and gaming media are fk elitists and instead of incentivate developers to optimize their games for cheap alternatives they create barriers to entry level devices. Of course, if there was a cheap version of the blue box, the talk would be different of “this potato is holding back games”, but this is another story. It is so annoying and tiresome following gaming news… Arrgh

Digital Foundry also gets side eyes from me for this whole pseudo elitist “gaming is held back” thing and i normally defend them. We have this carnival of stupidity now for almost 3 years and not a single conrete game design thing could be mentioned from anybody.

This is extra hilarious because in some cases we still have PS4 versions planned for some titles like with REmake 4. Will DF spend half of their RE4 video saying how “game design” (whatever the fuck that means) is held back by fuckin’ base PS4? I don’t think so. Apparently cross-gen was the devil for DF but last year Linneman for example found a positive way to look at the cross-gen thing because “Ragnarok felt like a high end PC game with all the high frame rate options that they wouldn’t be there if it was a PS5 game”…so cross-gen was not so bad after all? at the very least they should be consistent about what they say or admit that they were wrong instead of moving the goalposts left and right.

Silent Hill 2 isn’t a big deal IMO. Dormant series for a long time and even the developer of the remake is questionable (many fans are against it lol)

The other two Silent Hill games in that stream didn’t even have the exclusive branding either so I assume they are coming to Xbox day 1.
