If the brands that people follow, celebrities, news networks don’t make an effort to use it, it doesn’t really help either. With the way twitter is going Threads is going to take it’s place in the US, but be completely worthless outseof it.

Forgive my ignorance but what is this picture of a logo, people are putting in there screen name slot. I’m assuming it’s a premium feature that can be purchased?

I only ask because I really want Xbox to add back the share to Twitter option for screen captures. Sure would seem appropriate for “X” box to be able to share to “X (the app formerly known as Twitter)”

Seems pretty hypocritical if Xbox is paying extra for premium Twitter features like Sarah Bond’s Xbox logo while actual Xbox gamers like me have a now useless share button on our controller that doesn’t even let me share (to Twitter).

I clicked on it and it says it’s because it’s a verified account affiliated with Xbox. Probably safe to say that Microsoft is paying for premium features because it’s a necessity for any company though.

What do you mean? I see people post Xbox share on Twitter a lot

I think it doesn’t share direct to Twitter anymore and u have to do it from the Xbox app.

this is true

As amazing as the story, characters, gameplay in RDR2 is, I’m spending tons of time just exploring this game world. At first glance you might think this is an “empty” world, like, what truly could there possibly be worth scouring the whole map over for? But there is plenty. It’s just hidden in plain sight, so to speak.

Unless you go exploring you won’t stumble upon a mysterious tomb that holds a unique weapon, or a fully modeled cave system behind a waterfall with some environmental storytelling too. This is what BGS is so damn good at too. They don’t throw it at you, you have to find it yourself. So it may take some time to find interesting stuff, but once you do the sense of wonder is truly great. Cannot wait to see what Starfield holds when it comes to this. That handcrafted goodness.

At least once Threads federates, you can use Mastodon and still follow other Threads users, as long as your on an instance that doesn’t block them.

I bought this game when it came out and dropped it after like 30 minutes. I should probably give it a revisit. It is well regarded enough that I should push through it and give it a chance.

Maybe after Starfield lol

It is 100% worth it, really take your time with it. There is so much cool, random stuff here. It really shows the effort the devs put into this.

I’m glad I finally decided to properly play it a month or two ago, because yes, as soon as Starfield is here…it’s over. :sunglasses:

As part of a major organization in Microsoft all of their employees can be verified for free. Kinda Funny is verified this way as well.

Yeah but the Xbox logo next to the “blue check mark” is new right? I just think if Xbox is paying for premium Twitter features for thier employees, that it’s hypocritical to take away Twitter sharing from us fans. I just want to give Xbox free Twitter advertising by sharing screen captures every once in awhile. I feel it kinda screws third party’s too. I bought a pac-man costume in Fall Guys today, I definitely would’ve shared that if Xbox didn’t have their Twitter feud preventing me from sharing. Microsoft is such a big company, can’t they figure something out with Twitter. I don’t know, just annoying is all.

I don’t think it’s an Xbox decision, it’s Microsoft as a whole and it effects more than just Xbox, as it involves other companies that they do business with, keeping the feature would probably look worse than them removing it.

Lol similar experience, bought after release, played the prologue and just couldn’t get through with those slowass controls. Since then I have bought RDR1 and replayed and it and it was a great experience, I have also played GTA V for the 3rd playthrough, I still don’t think of getting back to RDR2… It’s not about the time investment I’m fine with that I just don’t like time wasting that is in RDR2.
