Early call but the new TMNT movie seems to be getting solid reviews. Seems like Xbox is advertising dare I say banger films ever since with Top Gun Maverick.

Dude, you’re not wrong there.
We went from the WiiU to Switch, and Switch can be called a marginal upgrade I think? I was very disappointed with how it turned out hardware wise. Xenoblade is one blurry mess on a 65 inch, these great Nintendo IP deserve so much better.

Yeah, I would love for Nintendo to kind of go the Xbox Series route and offer everyone the base product, which would be a handheld device that could be docked, but then offer everyone a standalone device that was more powerful. They could probably achieve the same price with both devices. To be profitable, the standalone device would most likely need to be less powerful than the Series S, but honestly that would still allow them to make games that look and run great.
It won’t happen, but it would be awesome if they did that.

Thank god I can get used to a less than stellar looking game after a half hour or so…if the game is good enough of course and Switch has a lot of great 1st party games. I guess having my Switch hooked up to a 40" 1080p LCD and playing in handheld mode a lot too help quite a bit with not having to worry about lower resolutions and 30fps.

There’s a bug or something with the new dashboard, because it’s inconsistent with showing backgrounds for me. It shows the background of one game, but not for others. It showed the RDR2 background yesterday for me, not anymore.
I believe that is due to the game itself cuz I ran into that too but believe some games don’t have art

It works again. I rebooted the Xbox.
RDR2 is my only current played game, and that worked great yesterday, but just now it didn’t activate. But it’s good now.
Yeah I can get myself to enjoy old games and games with low res/fps fairly easily if they’re good

Definitely seems like it has faster response time. Still don’t like seeing non-game itself apps like Ubisoft Connect or Accessories having a tile when you access them. Settings tile is thankfully gone though.
You can see a little more of the background but still, that bottom line of tiles simply shouldn’t exist if off-line like I usually am. Seeing “my games” and “connect to” under my game tiles is so stupid when being off-line.
But whatever, one day they’ll get it 100% right and then change it back the next day. lol
