Square and doing the most silent shadow drops possible on Steam continues lol. I’m pretty sure every Square console exclusive → PC port (especially with Switch) has sold terribly because they silently release every one of them.
I heard it’s one of the weakest DQ spin offs unfortunately. At least the new DQ Monsters looks like a really solid effort though.
Diablo has only been on consoles for a decade. It doesn’t have the same pedigree FF does with console gamers. It’s not that surprising people might have different expectations, especially for PlayStation.
Yeah, many console gamers didn’t grow up with diablo. Diablo 3&4 is most likely most console gamers first time playing a game in franchise . If anything it’s impressive how blizzard was able to get millions of console gamers to support franchise .
Meanwhile, final fantasy is many people’s first time experiencing a rpg on a console and can argue it’s name is bigger than diablo
Nice, it means DIV has sold over 3 million copies on Playstation alone(giving square the benefit if the doubt and saying they sold 3 million). I do wonder if that would be enough for Xbox to actually bring DV to Playstation in the future.
Surprising announcement to be honest, he was such synonymous with Xbox, I wonder who will actually pick up his spot as it’s big shoes to fill and also where he will land next?
I didn’t watch This Week On Xbox often, but the ones I have recently haven’t had Larry Hryb doing the voice over. So I guess he was already working on making sure things kept going smoothly before he announced he was leaving.
I will always be thankful to Major Nelson for staying after the Xbox One blunder. He was there for the highs and lows. He was commited and that’s something that is commendable.
I’ll be missing his voice and wit. To me, he was as important as Phil Spencer for Xbox. He took part in defining what Xbox is today.
Oh damn! He’s been around for a long long time. Respect! I especially remember him from during the 360 era, but I think he was there since day one with OG Xbox?
Major Nelson went above and beyond for the brand . I’ll say he’s the best brand ambassador ever , and such a positive force Xbox . He united gamers and I feel he set the standards for how to represent a brand on social media
