For the love of MGS I hope it’s not Virtous as the developer. Their ports are 50% good and 50% very bad. AC3, Ezio Collection, Outer Worlds Switch and the Outer Worlds next gen version were so bad.

Which one would be a great porting studio that makes multiplatform titles too?
I’m still expecting a few timed or full exclusives though, it’s Sony, there’s no way it won’t.
QLOC would be nice. Did a lot of great ports and even add new features like Nier Automata.
But MGS 3 is probably more than just a port.

For Castlevania this gives me hope they’re making a 2D game if MGS not being locked down by Sony means Sony is not as “involved” as initially thought. I figured if Sony was locking down a Castlevania game it meant it was a cinematic 3D game lol.

if klownami want a remake of MGS3 because it is the popular one then for castlevania i hope it is SoTN because it is also the most popular on the series. i don’t care if it is 3D sidecrolling just like the PSP game. just gimme a ‘new’ version of it.

I 1000G’d that game after it was on GWG and it was a pretty cool game. Idk if it’s what I want from Castlevania after all this time though.
I hope they at least give me a collection of the DS Castlevanias lol

Trailer might get nitpicked harder now although that still happened with Silent Hill 2 because of the diehard SH fanbase.

You got me to check and it seems 0 people there read the article. The article outright says “PS5, Series SX, PC”. But there’s so many posts saying “could be PS5 and PC” lol.
There’s also this weird notion in the thread that Sony paying for it would mean they get “involved” to insure a quality game is delivered… Forspoken, KOTOR Remake?
