Just bought Binary Domain (on sale). I had already played it on Steam but game is cool so I doubledipped.

While i donāt like him leaking things such as the Kojimaās project with Xbox, he did a good job at setting up expectations for last E3ās. Specially 2021ās one, i guess heāll do the same today
You got to be bad if you have people believing a Ubisoft game that is in development hell will release before KOTOR.

I was hoping Deadly Premonition would go on sale since there was a small BC sale going on, but it seems like itās just never happeningā¦
I feel like itās gonna be one of those games that never go on sale until after I potentially buy it full price lol.

Xbox has tried doing the biggest acquisition with MS support
If and only if they could for once try doing the biggest money hat of all
Hopefully the extended drama of ABK could bring more aggression in xbox and MS to be more platform agnostic for once
Long term goals are goodā¦ But a short term big money hat can bring lot of mid term strength to the platform by changing the narrative. It will also give huge dividends when long term plans will come to fruition

On the flip side, I am not sure that Microsoft cares to move into 1st place. They get more scrutiny and everything when they do that.
I think what they do care about is continuous growth. If they can help the industry continue growing unbound then they have tons of headroom in the industry and dont need to take market share.
A side effect of leaving Sony and Tencent propped up as number 1 and 2 is that its easier to make acquisitions that way (especially when you are Microsoft and already face scrutiny). It doesnāt make sense for Microsoft to want to put their competitor (that helps enable their growth just by ebing there) out of business. Now this regulatory environments a little challenging and different, but regulatory environments change.

I didnāt say for number 1 spot. Just a better market share mid term. The console platform needs it. Specially since parity is holding there āmost powerful consoleā narrative. It could also help Series S be more optimised for that game.

I was thinking that we might see Alan Wake 2 gameplay next week. Normally Iād say at Xbox, but Control debuted at a Sony show too, I can see it. Especially with the chance that Xbox will go with a GP show again.
Or during SGF.
