Both true. I just think that Microsoft who’s the owner should be making the decisions. I’m not one who believes that when you acquire a company or whatever that they still get to run independently as if they didn’t buy them. Just my own personal opinion.

Microsoft has enough control to tell them what platforms they are making their games for haha. We do to really know to what degree they are involved in a decision like this.

So far from Japan the ones who’ve done it are Square Enix (on Sony moneyhat games only. FF Origin was $60 for example), Sony themselves, and Nintendo with TOTK (they claim it will be “case by case” lol)

So far there has not been $70 from the other Japanese publishers. I still say the reluctance to leave behind last gen is at play. I’m interested to see Tekken 8 pricing from Bandai as it’s skipping last gen.

I kinda wish they did though, with how big of a asshole Sony has proven to be with ABK. I would hope any good will left is now gone. At the same time it’s all business, it’s money in MS pocket.

I do think Xbox should be less buddy buddy and more ruthless in some ways but I don’t think this matters too much

These games are old and have been available on both consoles for years
