Phil is doing his job, as making things possible. Studios have to make great games, he’s not responsible for their failures, nor their successes.

I get it. Xbox needs more AAA games and it will happen. Aside from that, it should be like what Nintendo is, its own kind. Being the exact same will actually do harm since it will have consumer questioned on why get both if both are identical.

Ryan isn’t an Xbox fan. He’s a media personality that covers Xbox. He frequently says things that don’t make sense about the brand and he’s first to criticize and last to praise Xbox.

I will say it right now, bet IGN is super jealous that they didn’t get the Phil interview. How many “Xbox bad” pieces can Ryan be attached to in a week? I count at least 3, not counting the tweets where he said he expects people to just buy a PS5.

I won’t say what I want to at the risk of a ban but Ryan is extremely uninformed for someone who covers xbox and constantly has some of the worst takes out there
So no, they absolutely should not listen to him, it was him who suggested cancelling Grounded, one of xbox’s best and most successful games this gen so they could work on ES6

I mean, Starfield and Forza Motosport are releasing this year. And we know Xbox has a huge investment in AAA games going by all the announced projects, but of course those games take a while to make. This is really crying over spilled (spoilt? whatever.)milk lol.

They also famously didn’t buy google for $1million. It’s crazy how many bags they’ve fumbled. Also, I think they went back a couple of years after and refused Google’s counter-offer

They really fumbled their own sale too, instead of making bank with MS they waited for years to sell for pennies on the dollar to Verizon. Imaging passing up $45 Billion in 2008 to only get $4.5 Billion in 2017.
