I mean, gaming is turning in a damn no ending soapera. It is just fun, if you refused to play a game because Internet said it is unplayable you would end just throwing away your console. Now xbox is done because of Oxenfree II and a pixel collection!?? and everything else that was offered till now is forgotten (high on life, atomic heart, legends, aoe, hi fi rush, wo long, just to mention a few), not to say what is coming. Redfall doesnt matter anymore because it is 30 fps, but Oxenfree…WOW! Jeez, I cant even choose the next game I’m going to play because I’m overhelmed with gamepass offerings.

I brought this up at the beginning of the gen when everyone told me how cool it was in like Astros Playroom. There may be a few “cool” use cases but at the end of the day its nothing groundbreaking or interesting enough for people to care. It was the same with the “fancy rumble” on the Switch. Its used in a few gimmicky ways but for most devs it doesn’t bring enough to the table to focus on and in a lot of games people turn it off cause its more annoying than anything else.

And what sucks is how it eats up the battery. They could have had Xbox/Elite controller battery life, instead they get like…five hours or so?

I don’t play long enough in a single session to care but like, its such bad battery life. I have the Forza controller with the Razer charge stand and its just…chefs kiss. So much so I refuse to play with another controller cause the grip is so nice. Although I might go back to my OG Elite controller for the next shooter I play cause the back buttons are still the best controller innovation in a long and ill fight anyone on that.

Once Redfall comes out (unless its terribly received) it’ll be generally more positive. People like me (there are legit trolls who just are excited to shit on Xbox, not talking about them) are just impatient.
Thats only if you use the API for ads and auto posts. There will be tons of ads still but just for shit you really don’t want.
