Oh for sure, but games can always renew to stay on gamepass, you don’t HAVE to leave it. I think it just helps highlight that even Gamepass has lost a bit of momentum because, sure games are going on but the quality of titles isn’t what it used to be, which was bound to happen at some point but the timing of it all is just really unfortunate on top of everything else.
The quality of games coming into GamePass has increased.

I totally missed what platforms it was coming out on when it was announced so its sadly news to me.
I’ll respectfully disagree. The last year looking at the “coming to game pass” has less and less games I have even a passing interest in. So it may of increased for some, but for me personally, it hasn’t.
Ps: I am still bitter that Square seems pretty much entirely done with Xbox, I was fine with stuff being timed exclusive for Playstation but it looks like they have no interest in bringing it to Xbox. Maybe its Sonys fault, Square being weird or maybe not enough people played it on the console. Whatever it is, its really unfortunate on top of the rest.
What platform Steam is on again? Windows. Am I correct. What platform Xbox is based on. Windows. Right? What Graphics API does both used. DirectX right. So you are saying MS should pay extra for a port, which can be just using the same version as the PS5. They just need to used the same files and compile it for the XBOX SDK. So basically its Square Enix blackmailing you give us the extra cash or else we won’t port it. Square Enix has associated themselves with the Playstation and to some extent Nintendo console. Their games don’t do that well on PC. Maybe its just a deal with Sony that for skipping XBOX that will be able to port it to PC.
If they really cared for the western market they wouldn’t be behaving as such. And this is coming from a non westerner.
The flavor of the month is to look for “L’s” wherever you can, it is toxic.

I sadly feel the same, there just was more of interest for me personally. This year had Monster Hunter Rise, which is top notch. Wo Long at the end of the day didn’t do it for me, doesn’t mean it isn’t a strong addition but it was a disappointment for me.
This month except for Benedict Fox which looks great it’s been meh too, for me.

Xbox news is scarce so influencers have to jump on every scrap they can find which, even though often minor, is just disappointing things. I think it will flip for a while if the acquisition goes thru and Redfall is a quality title.
Rise wasn’t my cup of tea and Wo Long in the brief bit I played it just felt like a mediocre Soulsborne which, maybe playing all 3 Dark Souls last year made it hard to get into. This month nothing peaks my interest and the next drop its like Redfall maybe and thats it.
Yep, that too. I really hope we get some clarity exactly what is going on between SE and Xbox. Jez was going to try find more info on it, but when someone today implied maybe it was SE after all, Jez said…Xbox has money…

Getting mlb on service every year always makes ganepass worth it for me. Plus, cant forget stuff like hifi rush, wolong , persona 4, and other games. Also people sometimes for get older games on it like im having a blast finally playing through chained echoes.

Personal preference doesn’t mean overall quality. It might be of high or low quality in general and the opposite for you.

Game Pass has changed. Xbox is more interested in putting games available on day one. A few older games are added, but Microsoft’s priority for the service is now clear. Because of this, Game Pass feels like it’s gotten worse by no longer including triple A games that are a few years old.

And yeah quality can often be subjective, maybe someone could track the monthly leaving and arrivings average meta critic. That way its more objective and less subjective.
