So I ve tried Minecraft Legends and first impressions are positive. Dubbing is great and visuals look really nice on Series X. Strategy is not my cup of tea, but mechanics on this one are definitely interesting.

Alright. I ventured onto those perilous “menus” that frightened IGN Ryan. All lies. The leveling up is super fun. At the end of the day it’s a $30 game and I’m getting a lot of entertainment from it. It’s legit addictive, at least in the beginning stages.
Willing to move my score of Disney Speedstorm up to a 9/10.

I loved the OG games. As a kid I was quite a bit into star wars (even liked the prequels abck then lol) and played so much battlefront 2 with friends. The alternative storyline in the campaign playing as the bad guys was amazing and the multiplayer was so much fun. One map let you play exclusively as the heroes. We played that for hours^^
Would’ve loved a 3rd installment back then.
Remember when people called Ubisoft creatively bankrupt and now they apparently have a chance to beat Activision at their own game 
not gonna be shocked if ABK deal goes through there’s gonna be a sudden surge of “wow defiant is better than cod, cod is dead”

XDefiant is gone to be another new hot F2P, comes out and is play by many, but 3-6 months later and it fizzle out, will die off. I doubt it will have long lasting stay like Apex or Fortnite.

Initially when it was announced I thought the controller looked kinda ugly but the more I look at it the more I like it. At this point i’d be willing to jump on it but that price is kinda steep…

Apex Legends doesn’t get enough credit for how much they nailed their GAAS.

XDefiant will be dead in 4 months it’s only being pushed by streamers atm
Gaming isn’t getting any better or worse, we just always look at the past with moments of joy. Have fun while gaming and don’t take the hobby so seriously.

Maybe, I think XDefiant could be pretty good. The gameplay looks solid so far and people seem to like Rainbow Six Siege with the amount of support it has received over the years. I think there is room in the market for more cod competitors now that Battlefield is dead.
Started another Hollow Knight playthrough recently, in foolish anticipation of Silksong.
I feel like Rainbow Six Siege and For Honor were from a different era of Ubisoft I couldn’t see modern Ubi making those games but yes ultimately more competition is good so I hope this succeeds

COD can just make a old school mode and it will be the end of XDefiant.
R6 2 is what Ubi should be making. Problem with Ubi is they try to chase trends too much. They have a nice area part of the market with R6, they need to focus on that, instead of trend chasing that will crash and burn.
Saying all this as a big Ubi games fan BTW.
