Honestly, my bet is you see either Elden Ring or Tales of Arise this holiday season and then you see the other in early 2022.
If we don’t get more info on either by at least the summer then I don’t fuckin know anymore, but I always associate Tales games with January-April release windows.
Berseria/Zestiria were January in the west following Japanese releases from the previous year and Vesperia remastered was January as well.
Possible that it’s slated for later this year, and it’ll come to the west later this year too, since the way this game was revealed and announced feels like a situation where it’s gonna have a global launch (didn’t they outright confirm this???).
No faith whatsoever. I can’t even imagine what multi-player would look like in that game. It would be a complete waste of time & resources to develop, in my opinion.
No way they should move on as quick as possible though. They badly need to tidy up their mess, even just for PR purposes.
Looks like I’m practically alone. I’ve played a little FF12 on PS2 way back and even picked up the PS4 copy for pennies a while back and still haven’t played. Its “MMO likeness” is something that appeals to me in this 21st century of no good MMO’s
Also I’m voting from my PoV too, I already have like a dragon in my playlist, if I were to pick another long RPG it would be FF12.
Yakuza 0 could leave gamepass as it’s getting close to a year since it was added. It’s worth it for that alone. Final Fantasy 12 will be around a longer.
Played Project Winter this morning. Read through the tutorial then played the tutorial. This is a social game about deception and so on.
Start the game get about 2 minutes in when I’m killed with a pick axe almost instantly by one of the baddies who spent the rest of his time chasing folk with a crossbow.
What a waste of time. If I wanted to play combat game I would do that.
The developers were kind enough to give us 8 codes which we split among EMEA and NA focused staff, I’ve played a bunch of games with the EMEA team and solo with PC players, and I haven’t had a bad game.
8 is amazing, especially if all good friends, but even just 4 of us at a time was a really good time. Keep an eye on the site/youtube @2pm GMT today for our thoughts.

Anyone have experience of changing their Xbox location to use a foreign download code (and then switching back)?
For some reason game codes seem to be much cheaper from Argentina, according to CDKeys and the like.
I wondered if this is an easy thing to do, and does it have any negative effects?
