XboxEra Community Hangout |OT| Safe Space no longer required (Part 1)

EA made 3 billions and and sold more than 52 millions of copies and there are some people who think Microsoft shouldn’t have a star wars game. Even if we’re looking through the gamepass glasses, imagine how many subscribers would they get for a good star wars game.

I don’t consider it essential, but if they have the opportunity, they certainly should take it.

It is a personal thing there is soo much more intresting stuff that is not Star Wars. If a studio waant to create a Star Wars game I dont mind but dont push them to do it.

Studios would drop anything they have just for the chance to work on Star Wars. This is one of those IP’s you just dont say no to. Simple.

LOL Ninja Theroy would drop Hellblade 2 for a Star Wars game right?

A Ninja Theory game about Ahsoka…

Not drop Hellblade but they would take the project in a heartbeat.

Seems I needed to be more specific here.

By big, I meant as in, it’s a lot. As in, more than just the standard 1 rumour.

Now the “hugeness” of the rumours will depend entirely on the individuals listening.

As always I would say

maybe killer instinct finally found a dev?

(i hope thats the rumour, and its true)

I think sumo digital could do a good job with killer instinct, take the existing game give it some next gen polish and just start doing seasons again

Wow, try and hold on to some of your dignity, no need to beg, I already said I’d listen to your podcast.

Xcloud is a good name.

Whenever Xbox finds a good name, it just goes with the bad one.

“Xbox Game Pass Air” | “Xbox Game Pass X” | “Xbox Game Pass Go” | “Xbox Game Pass Azure” | “Xbox Game Pass Cloud”. :slightly_smiling_face:

Seriously… what’s so hard? xCloud. That’s what everyone I know is calling it allready anyway.

Agreed, MS likes to needlessly complicate things sometimes. You have a name, it’s unique, it explains what the product/service is, it’s memorable and picking up steam… so they decide to start referring to it as the most generic name possible.

I know in the case of Beam, they couldn’t get the trademark across every country, so they had to change it.

I feel like xCloud won’t be the final name but we’ll see.

Anybody have any sort of faith in the cyberpunk online mode? Like this has to be a historically good online mode + resources to actually finish fixing the base game that if Im CD Projekt Id just move onto Witcher as fast as they can.

Nah. I’m playing Cyberpunk a lot, have absolutely 0 interest in any online mode. Better they focus on SP-content.
