Just like that Smilegate studio was liking tweets about being bought by Microsoft. I think they just like tweets about their companies in a positive light.
Not that it matters because they already have that two game multi-plat deal with Epic. They already announced both games of multi-plat next-gen consoles.

If Sony is going to acquire Remedy, I guess it would be announced next week during their investor/earnings call.
But if Sony was in negations to buy Remedy, they would have to announce in publicly, and it would be weird to have taken that two game deal with Epic.
Who the hell knows.
Think people just gotta relax with this acquisition stuff all over the place.
Remedy are another one that should’ve been an Xbox first party studio. They’re a talented team, they had a close relationship & if the people in charge of Xbox back then had any sense, then they would’ve made that deal.
Same thing with Bioware. I guess sometimes these things just don’t work out though.

Let’s focus on what we are getting in 2021 and not what others MAY or MAY not get.
Sometimes I wonder if Phil has tried (again?) when the studio acquiring spree started. Guess we’ll never know for cinematic action games they would have been perfect. But ah well.
If Sony does grab them, it is what it is. I have zero doubt that they’ll lock those games down if that happens.
The future of Xbox is incredibly promising. Not sure if we’re getting big stuff this year other than Psychonauts 2 and Halo but the upcoming years? Oh man.

It’s possible Sony and Epic could work out a deal to drop Epic’s agreement with Remedy. Unlikely, yes. But possible.
I don’t care if they’re sexy to the mainstream or not, The Gunk, Darktide, The Ascent, and PSO2: New Genesis are at the top of my most anticipated games this year.
Snagged for $15 on ps5 so just waiting on them updates for next gen.
