But it is not the same whatsoever, at this point this is just complaining for the sake of it, almost like people love to be negative. MS just had a tremendous month for Game Pass, and that should be ignored because of GwG ? I am sorry to say, but I donât understand this mentality whatsoever.

The focus is not the same, why people canât see that. One is focusing on GP, the other on PS+. One want GPU to be the best so offering better GwG is against that. They want Gold to disappear eventually, not make it more attractive. Again, the focus is different, you wonât get better GwG no matter if people complain about that on Twitter. It is just a bonus, while PS Plus games is more essential to Sony and PS Now is not good.

Xbox Live Gold and PS+ are the same thing. An MP paywall on respective console. They are rightfully compared.

And again, it is a different focus. If the strategy was around Gold, I would have agreed with you. If you make GwG good again, people will want to stay on Gold, which would lead to the opposite everyone wants. The want people to take GPU instead. Sony wants people to go into PS+, thus putting better games there. It is all about strategy, if Gold is supposed to disappear, why keeping a really good GwG when it is nothing more than a bonus. It doesnât make sense.
Oh well, people will forget about that in one week, and new games will be announced for GP next month, and nobody will care about GwG anymore.
Games with Gold is just a bad PR hit every month irrelevant of the free games because the quality is outright bad when compared to its direct competition irrelevant of âfocusâ on gamepass.

A lot of people ask for Sony to make PS Now better to compete with gamepass. They canât come around and then say âgamepass is great, so GwG quality doesnât matterâ on the xbox side. Either both companies are bad at one of these things and are in your eyes fine to continue that way, or both these companies should make their weaker service more appealing.

I donât think you understand what Iâm saying. I know their focus are different, that is not the point.
The optics are just bad. One service is very much better than the other, which keeps getting pointed out every single month.

Thatâs what I am saying, it is all about focus and strategy. But Iâve derailed enough already, so letâs go back to other things.
I donât know how you do calculations, but you need two full priced AAA games plus a year of gold for a year of gamepass ultimate.
Itâs not the same compared to what? Psplus and gold are literally the same type of service.
People praise Microsoft for gamepass and criticize for games with gold. Donât know why thatâs hard to comprehend for you and others who think like that. Gamepass rocks, while games with gold are embarrassing.
Who cares what their end goal is? Literally tens of millions of people are paying for gold every month and they deserve better for what they pay for. And no, gamepass is not suitable for everyone. Xbox community should stop acting like itâs something everyone should have. Thatâs just incorrect.
