499 euros, yeah that’s a huge no from me. I bet that for me they aren’t worth that over other good quality ones. There’s a limit to this, lol.

I would say there is still a market for them. It is like high high-tier headset and I have some friends that only want that type of headset, otherwise it is not worth it for them. Now, if I were Don Mattrick, I would say there is another cheaper proposition, and that’s the Xbox Wireless headset

They are the same price as the Beoplay HX ($549 CAD), not bad considering.

Here is a good review of the HX’s, which seem to be pretty much the same to the Portal’s.

Oh I knew they make pricier stuff. And a few years ago when I was looking for wireless headphones for my music I tried B&O out and it was not for me. Not worth it for me. It was especially lacking in bass for me. But that doesn’t necessarily mean they won’t have a great bass in these.

I do look forward to some reviews. Definitely curious how it compares to TB’s best ones, ASTRO, etc

Haha right, like I’m sure they’re wonderful but I doubt any headset is worth nearly 1k lol.

Yeah makes me happy seeing them have a ton of success in Game Pass, obviously it’s going to do wonders for smaller games.
