Haha, although I did believe you specifically were using it figuratively, I’ve seen some people here do talk about it unironically saying if you don’t have or want gamepass, MS doesn’t want you in the ecosystem, which I not only think is a bit toxic but also simply wrong.
Do I remember reading something about Avengers not having some performance modes compared to PS5? Is that still a thing? I know these modes just came out on PS, but I don’t know if I’ve made this up or it was an actual thing
Edit: also, does anyone know if Prey: Mooncrash has gotten boosted by Frame Rate Boost? I’m not sure if DLC’s are effected by it (unless it’s a stand-alone expansion?)
That’s not the way your post read to me but ok, I’ll take your word for it & accept that I read it wrong.
Still, I wasn’t only talking about your post. I was talking about every post that reads along those lines. There’s quite a lot of it going around at the moment. A fair few people are talking that way & I don’t think it’s the right angle. As I said, it’s easy enough to simply point out all the cool games on the service & say “That’s great value. I’d highly recommend giving it a chance, you might love it.”
I know this is getting dangerously close to tone policing though, so I won’t bang on about it endlessly. I’ve said my piece for now.
Oh I’m sure Xbox will have insane games with incredible graphics by then, but I was just joking a little about how it might take advantage of gamepass and the better hardware and it’s features.
But yeah, Forspoken looks ok I guess. Nothing special, in my opinion. Nice graphics but that doesn’t really do much for me at this point. We’ve had so many games with incredible graphics by now.
I think you just gotta look at it as Game Pass being Microsoft’s opportunity to grow the market this gen and people are extremely excited about it when they make good moves.
People using hyperbolic language is going to happen, it isnt an attack on anyone. Peoples gaming habits vary and nobody can say what makes sense for someone else.
