Yeah, there’s MFT of different threads in Reddit about it too.
Whenever I suffer the controller disconnects, I need to remove the battery pack then put them back in to be able to reconnect to the console. Turning the controller off then on again or even hitting Sync button or plugging it into USB does not work for me.
Ok im watching anime and i put it on pause for long enough for the screen to go dark. The controller even turns off. I get up (not touching the controller) and the tv screen brightens up. Is the xbox somehow keepin track of me moving or is it my tv?
I also get this if I leave my controller and it turns off to preserve battery, sometimes it needs a re-sync. Other times when I turn the console on it needs a re-sync.
does it work with games like Dark Souls series as well? cuz you know, can’t even pause in that game let alone save wherever you want. A feature like quick resume would be godsend for it.
Kidding, but sometimes there’s no choice other than leave the console on, or just not to play the game when you know you won’t have a long play session. With QR I’m playing it without needing to worry about it (and I do save when coming across a save point)
It’s amazing in Nier Automata as well. For those that don’t know the save system is… unique. So not having to rely on it is so good.
Glad QR seems to be stabilising and working very consistently now. It’s such an amazing feature. I feel much less guilty about quickly booting up a game for a 20 minute play session.
Not sure about you guys but I find that I get the most use out of it swapping from MP to SP games and vice versa. I play a lot of apex (currently diamond on the climb to masters) and even though the connection get severed and you get thrown back to the title screen, it only takes a few seconds to get connected an into a lobby again. You still skip the whole boot up process. Makes it so much easier to stay interested.
I remember why I stopped with Dishonerd. First I can safe whenever I want. Some sidequest are easily exploited in that way. Combat is rather easy.
When I get caught I’m annoyed because the game implies to be a sneaky as possible. It really discourages freedom in my mind… Let’s take something like Prey hiding in this game is a option but also gun blazing is very welcomed. Here it sucks because I know I could easily murder anyone but the game does not like it. I fell dishonored in a way.
I try to continue but it does drag for this reason. Maybe I should play on harder difficulty…
Anyways what I get from this is I hate stealth games that implies you to not kill anyone.
Stealth is fine for me if it is not mandatory
The world is amazing and I love how I can find secrets and secondary paths. This is the aspect I love about Prey specifically.
What annoys me a lot that I sometimes miss click and imidatly my cover is broken. The controller layout does not appeal to me.
With that said I truly hope Arkane next game is more like Prey where exploration and creativity is more in focus and not soo much stealth I feel forced to crouch all the time. Honestly it is a shame because the game has a lot possible ways to deal with enemy’s but Dishonored is clearly intended as a Stealth game.
Now I want to reiterate @peter42O how ln earth is this a action adventure to you??
