This is what I am talking about. Advertisements are for people who don’t follow or keep track of whatever product(s) you are advertising. I’m not on any cereal forums so if there is a new flavor of Cheerios coming out it needs to be advertised to me. We are on a gaming enthusiast forum who are supposed to be in the know about the world of gaming. However it is the common gamer that the gaming forums never acknowledge as important to the community that know about this game and the so-called enthusiasts that have no clue about it.
Anyone old enough that remember the discussion thread back then? So many wrong/bad takes. ‘’ Mojang isn’t worth that much is MS crazy, MS are clueless, can’t wait till it inevitably gets shutdown’’ etc. Turned out to be an excellent acquisition.
Same thing prior to Bethesda acquisition. The amount of people who didn’t even entertain the possibility and would outright bully you for such a suggestion are now completely behind it. Matt was another one who was aggresively against a publisher acquisition because it would cause so many layoffs yet a lot more people are being hired under MS than fired. But that part deliberately gets neglected.
Team Xbox is killing it with acquisitions. Not just the amount but they are only going for the best value/quality combination.
This is a good point. If Roblox is exclusive to your console why not market it like crazy? Kids are crazy about it. That would be a great card that MS can play to secure the next young generation (aged up to 12) into their ecosystem. Like Roblox is bigger than Minecraft for most kids. It’s crazy. MS definately needs to market it a lot more.

I’ve been dreaming of this for years. The possibilities for that universe with their style… I needs it. 
Took me back to my Junior High School days , playing Hyperstone Heist on my Genesis.
The game runs fine on Gamepass app for PC.
Don’t know what’s causing the stuttering for steam version.
Haters will say - Xbox cheats his way to games, this will keep PS games on PS safe from Getting stolen away.
I played on GPPC as well, so same here. Outside the occasional crash once in a blue moon, it ran fucking flawless ultra settings 90 fps on my basic 1060.
No idea why the steam version is having these problems.

Never played that one, wasn’t it almost the same game as Turtles in Time? I really liked The Arcade Game and Manhattan Project. Even liked that Platinum games joint on Xbox One. Sad it’s delisted but glad I have the disc.

This move was one of the best in MS history of acquisition. Not just for the gaming site but MS learned that being hands off is actually a good thing.

This win can not be understated as it likely was a big aid for Phil in convincing Satya to take the strategy they have. Not just because Phil proved he makes good calls, but because of the billions of dollars it made MSFT to be redeployed into growing XGS.
A very good comparison is Epic; they’ve done a very good job at using the billions made from kids using their moms/dads credit cards in Fortnite to make a competitive PC games platform (hate all you want but it’s true).
I don’t know what % of MSFT XGS makes, but a rough estimate based off of revenue is 10%. 10% of their current market cap is $180bn. Making the leap that Minecraft is worth as much as Roblox is now (I have no idea and this is a lazy comp), Minecraft’s value went from 1.3% of XGS to 22.2%. That’s a huge chunk of dry powder and momentum to use to start buying studios.

I played the Definitive Edition after all the patches, fixes and the DLC addition and I ended up loving it too.
A new ReCore game with a decent budget and enough time in the oven could be something really amazing, I hope MS will give this IP another chance because the potential is clearly there.

Started Gears Tactics and it said I needed to be online to validate the game. Fine, did that. I started the tutorial and disconnected being online and the game kicks me out to the dashboard saying that I must be online to play this game. There’s no online co-op or multi-player so why do I have to stay connected online? I am playing this game via Game Pass Ultimate and im good until April 30th.
EDIT: Never mind. Seems that I had to validate the game first and now, appears I can play off-line.
EDIT 2: Spoke to soon. Pop up message stating I needed to be online popped up and I was kicked out back to the dashboard. SMH.
Go to network settings and set yourself to offline.
