Now Sony doing it at the start of this gen.

Microsoft: Crossgen isn’t bad, Covid has fucked up the world and will pervade 2021 as well.

Sony: We believe in generations until we didn’t.

Microsoft: Added PC to its ecosystem previous gen.

Sony: seeing its benefit as well and considers it unproblematic and “rather straightforward” to release more of their games on PC in the future.

How did Ratchet go from launch window to mid year, Grand Turismo delayed to 2022 and GoW not being mentioned today by Jim Ryan for this year? CHAOS at Playstation Studios!!!

Yep… The narrative was that Xbox had big issues due to lack of games in 2021. MS was upfront talking about delays due to the pandemic. People still went crazy and weaponized this information.

Now we have all of these expected delays finally confirmed by Sony, as these same people are now lucid and state that they never expected 2021 for GT etc… anyways.

Found this interesting: MLB is listed as the publisher of MLB The Show 21 on Xbox. The PlayStation Studios logo is nowhere to be found on the store page (it is on the physical box). I wonder why? MS does the same thing for Minecraft. “Mojang Studios” is on the boxes of and “Mojang” is listed as the publisher for Dungeons on PS4 and Switch, but on PC and Xbox XGS is shown loud and proud.

My favorite publisher. Can’t wait for MLB’s E3 press conference this year. Should be a home run.

Fair enough but this egregious as hell…the double standard is beyond ridiculous.

Hell MS should’ve just announced Fable, Perfect Dark, and Avowed for 2021 and just went well they’re delayed now because of Covid.

But they can’t because the media would eat them up. How dare they announce game early and make conspiracy theories about MS having serious management issues, whereas Amy Hennig leaving Naughty Dog or Shwan Layden leaving Sony is no big deal.

I definitely believe the Sony portion but I dont believe the Halo Infinite portion at all.

Tbh the only console I still have any reason to buy as a pc player is a PS5 and I’m not mad at all. Xbox is actually getting my money without me even investing in a console of theirs, that’s a paradigm so many of these people are still coming to grips with. The era of the plastic box exclusive is over, it’s all about ecosystems moving forward. And there’s literal tangible proof to believe Sony is also thinking of evolving their ecosystem to include pc down the line, maybe not in the recent future but sometime definitely in the future. At that point, playstation won’t become useless when they said they’d release these games on pc, just like Xbox console didn’t become useless. But more so these become one of many points of entry into the ecosystem. Right now, pc is part of Xbox ecosystem. In this Sony’s future, PC may become part of it as well. At that point, a “playstation exclusive” would mean both console and PC. The only difference is Xbox is doing that exact thing already.

PlayStation is doomed now. Releasing their games on PC will ruin that feel of being special and exclusive for me. I cannot support this devalueing of the brand and of the games. This is a betrayal of all the loyal fans and frankly disrespectful to all of those who have bought into the PlayStation as our home.

It’s kinda weird. First we heard that MS is thinking of splitting the SP/MP and releasing only the MP part and suddenly it’s a delay for the whole game.
