Why are you flinging stuff at me randomly in the middle of the night? I brought up it up ONCE, said I found it a bit ridiculous since it was something that I consider inoffensive and never bothered me or found somebody that cared enough that much for bioware to be changing the camera in a remaster like a whole decade later in an M rated game for adults. If Bioware wants to change it great its not gonna affect my great interest for the game and I just brought it up here for discussion like any other person would.
I find it disrespectful and its ridiculous this specific calling out like we were crying about this like children. This puts Andrew and Me on blast here like we were screaming about any kind of censorship for hours when thats not true. This just puts us in some kind of nut job bad light to other people for unnecessary reasons. Second time in 24 hours direct attacks come at me in this forum because of disagreements. People can just fling shit my way about my character and persona because they disagree but if I were to call somebody out Im the one who faces repercussions by getting flagged.

Agreed, got pretty burnt out on the PvP experience of Overwatch especially as they further and further focused on Ranked and Esports related factors, But I was interested in a Co-Op PvE Overwatch to play with friends especially since I do enjoy the characters of that world. Though I recall impressions of the PvE being mixed, though I assume part of this wait to actual release is taking in that feedback amongst other things into account.
I’ve only heard positive things about it from the people who played it at Blizzcon. Nonetheless, it’s weird to hear people call it “pointless”, it’d definitely not. I thought internet gamers are always supposed to want campaigns? 
The fall of overwatch is an interesting one. It felt like it was hard to avoid in its first 2 years and now it’s rarely mentioned. I think it’s content roll out being so slow is one of the major factors. It still has a big player base so it’s not hard to find games but there’s no doubt it’s lost it’s shine. I really enjoyed it in it’s first 2 years.
Dude, this is what always happens you don’t hear the gaming press talk much about League of Legends, Dota, Elite Dangerous, Counter-Strike, etc. much either. But make no mistake, all still doing phenomenally. So is Overwatch. There is no “fall”, there is a “settled right where a very successful game that’s now very old should be”. It’s doing just fine.
My only opinion is it is seeming baffling how early they announced it, obviously in context it and Diablo 4 were mainly announced to cover up blowback they were getting about other stuff , but announcing a sequel seemingly 2-3 years ahead of time while your current game is ongoing, including telling folks a long fan awaited character would only release with the sequel is well, a headscratcher is all I can say. But I think an obvious thing that was always said about Overwatch especially considering its popularity in its hey day that extended beyond the game was that folks wanted a non-competitive aspect to enjoy it with, so I agree it’s far from “Pointless”.
What turned me off was the content rollout being massively inferior to Siege for example. I felt like nobody did less with more than Blizzard.
I shouldn’t have used “fall” more just that it’s dipped in popularity and not in the bigger part of the conversation like it was. That’s why i mentioned it still has a big playerbase. It hasn’t kept the same traction as games like Rainbow 6 which came at a similar time. My friendslist was once all overwatch people and now none of them play it.

I don’t think the intention was fit it to take this long, but COVID has effected literally every game.
It has dipped, but I think that’s expected after so long and with the content drying up in anticipation for the sequel. I don’t think they have much to worry about unless their numbers are soft after 2 launches.
Jesus dude, calm down. First thing, it wasn’t the middle of the night where I am. Second, I quoted the people, including you, who were discussing this “issue” of “censorship” because I wanted to address my post to all of you. If you want to further discuss anything I said, feel free. If you don’t want to talk about it, then why did you even bring this whole topic up in the first place? You did bring it up first, asking why the game was being censored.
Also, do you honestly feel “attacked” because I said you guys were being a bit ridiculous? If so, good god my man. You’ve got some seriously thin skin.

Seeing as Activision said they would be applying the free/premium model they have for COD to other franchises, maybe they will make Overwatch MP free.

Brought it up cause I thought it was worthy of discussion due to it being a change to the game but your post just makes it seem like we were being unreasonably ridiculous about the whole thing. Anyway water under the bridge who cares.
Yea exactly I only brought it up because it was a change that people are pissed at bioware for personally im not affected much by it
