I noticed this with my TB Elite 800x too. It sounded way more natural in stereo mode.
But with my TB Stealth 700 Gen 2 I have to say it sounds pretty damn good with Atmos or DTSX. Sure with stereo uncompressed it would sound more clear, more natural but I’d miss out on the surround effects which can be really nice.

I returned mine today. They aren’t bad at all, but just not on par with my TB’s and it’s just not necessary to keep a extra pair when I can use those 100 bucks for much more important things.
Have they said when it will be back in stock? I’ve got a bunch of MS rewards waiting to be spent on it. Basically get it for free.
Not sure if anyone saw our review. I’ve been pretty fond of them myself, after some frequency modifications, with my only real complaint being the heat of the cups after long sessions; I prefer the cloth cups of my 9x, but I generally prefer the Xbox headset for every other regard.
Is there a way to make the headset NOT turn on the Xbox console?
I don’t believe so. Just a built in feature really.
Well it’s annoying af when you have more than one console and in different rooms. 
If you hold the pairing button it won’t turn on the originally paired console. I have three consoles that I switch them between and I’ve had luck on that front.

Wish there was a way to reduce the volume of the system noises like turning them on, pairing. Much louder than I’d like.
I’m going to give these a try in a week, if they actually arrive. So, I’m curious who’s still using these and what your settings are. Is there something better to try out other than this Reddit Post ?

Latency is a problem for me … So prefer wired sometimes.

Is there any way to configurate the headphones so that the volume via Xbox isn’t so high or that the volume via Bluetooth isn’t so silent? Trying to use them both at the same time is really hard since the volume from the game overwhelmes the bluetooth audio.
