My concern is right now we have much more visibility than ever before and we also know that many projects don’t see the light of day, which is why they don’t get announced that early.

2021 Jez is throwing out everything, even if he only knows a codename.

I kind of like the transparency. It would be nice if games where more open about projects and if things don’t work out then they don’t work out, but the current state of the internet and fanboys won’t let that happen.

As someone just as interested in the industry as I am in playing games, I agree. I love how much Jez and Grubb are pulling back the curtain. And even if some of these go tits up, it’s gonna be fascinating to follow along.

While I find it interesting, if a game folks are excited about that doesn’t pan out it won’t just be the fanboys that make a big deal about it.

Yea if something gets cancelled there’s probably a reason but with Scalebound and Phantom Dust and the reaction to that I can understand Xbox not wanting stuff out there lol

After seeing Elden Ring gameplay, I’m dying for a game made in partnership with Fromsoftware.

A game like that on Gamepass would just be a dream to me.

According to Grubb, Sony would do anything to prevent that and all the signs tend to confirm his statement. I think it’s a similar situation with FFs: they want to keep a tight grip on popular japanese franchises in the west.
