Both, but mostly focusing on hardware at the moment
Hardware isnāt going to be anywhere close to PS5 or Series X. Nintendo doesnāt try to compete for power and any version of DLSS they will have will require the game to run at a high enough resolution to make much of a difference from the little I know about the tech.
Hm, its what i was thinking. Gents and lasses, i think its gonna be very wise to wait for more info on this in April. Cause thereās just something i cannot point my finger at that is making me feel like thereās a catch in all of this and am not really looking forward to it if am right on the money on this.
Itās a handheld and the higher end pc handhelds are still behind the current consoles. With the Series S being a potential target hardware in the future(just with better ram).
We just need to understand this and take the compromises that come with the benefits of handheld gaming.
The trailer was pretty underwhelming just looked like a boosted-up Switch. The thing now is with so many handhelds in the market will they be able to stand strong. No doubt they will have to wow the audience with their first party. Xbox will supply games, but all those games will or might look so much better on other handhelds. The thing though here is this could easily be another Wii U situation.
NEW: pressure is already high on Nintendo Switch 2 to jump start otherwise lackluster sentiment of video game industry. Analysts say Nintendo suppliers are ready to ship 20 million units in first year, a pace much higher than that of Switch, PS4 and PS5.https://t.co/vX4xJvabQp

I hope the Switch 2 isnāt a WIIU situation in where parents donāt know or see the difference.

Because honestly it looks too similar to the switch.
If what i think is true occurs then it could well be another Wii U scenario, but in this case the other handhelds might be the bigger issue in the long run for Nintendo than some might be thinking and their partnership with Microsoft is telling me we could see something coming over to Xbox in comparision to playstation and i think this possiblity is rather high then some might think.
Heck, i might make a powerful bet and say we could very well see the likes of POKEMON be a multiplatform game starting the new genaration. But that is a gamble in and out of itself depending on factors alone.
They might allow the old Donkey Kong or anything that RareWare helped with in the past other than that their partnership might just be for Azure. A Wii U situation this time around will totally destroy them so I think they will try as much to avoid that. This early announcement will help them gauge things and educate the audience to avoid that. If I recall PokĆ©mon is owned by 3 companies and with PalWorld pretty much taking its lunch itād only be a little while before the IP begin losing some steam. I think April will be when we see where things could be headed. On a note itās amazing how the industry is working hard to make this launch successful as compared to their treatment of Xbox.
Whats with the rumors about xbox bringing everygame to Playstation? Is it true ? Or is it still case by case? This gen xbox did alot better than xbox1 but in my opinion brand wise they have done alot of preventable damage.
Nothing has changed.
So nothing confirmed yet? Leakers making stuff up ? I remember them saying the same stuff last year
They always do.
No one knows shit (including Microsoft probably) which is part of the frustration. But no red lines, I expect everything sooner or later.
I just hope the guys at xbox to stop doing all that nonsense and focus on xbox again. Thinking consoles or hardware will be a thing of the past is so shortsighted, there will be consoles even 30 years and i think that market will grow tremendously.
Is it ms executives in control now or is it the guys at Xbox doing that on thier own
They are all suits.
Itās a business and right now I would think they are trying to get the business to a place where they can have some semblance of recurring income to which they can pacify their investors. I donāt think itās possible to get the resources to port over everything so it will be on a case-by-case basis for now.
Certain suits understand the industry better. And they know that it will destroy the company.
The point is be gaming or sports some people get invested in the brand and it becomes a huge and important part of their life when it comes to tinkering with the crown jewels you can expect a backlash from both sets of fans.
Sure, it is all speculation I mean for me the BIG elephant in the room is peopleās apathy to gaming with so many people just not interested in videogame gaming at all. Iām also starting to see people who were once big into gaming now just happy to watch others play games on YouTube and lost interesting in playing games themselfās.
I seen an article on windows central saying they barely even stock Xbox consoles in the UK anymore. That was Xbox 2nd biggest market. Itās only going to get worse. Not sure how Xbox turns it around or if they even want to at this point or if the plan is just to become a 3rd party publisher.
Before planting this FUD, wait 3 months if stays the same, ok thatās concerning
