First thanks for your coverage. I would say that is all nice and dandy to hear but I think from out here or the consumer and media space that sentiment isn’t shared. Phil Spencer’s name was trending on X for 2 days. Hardly any of the media is talking about Indy or pushing Gamescom that much. I’ve heard more about Black Myth than anything Gamescom and it doesn’t help when big news outlet like Bloomberg publishes out stories saying the Xbox strategy is confusing and a mess. The people in the industry are not the consumers, but it is good to know that they are positive about Xbox direction. While many are asking for clarity and just a ripping of the band aid. I think messaging is all that’s needed here.

And wrong. But for some reason its seen as good PR. For who? It was downright horrible for xbox users. In a world where sony is actively taking games away from our ecosystem we dont need MS pandering to the sony fanboys. Which is exactly what they did.

It was definitely weird how it was done, but I try not to get caught up in the how as much as the what.
Those optics just devalue the brand even more and makrs 3rd parties less likely to suport xbox even more
People just dont give a shit about xbox consoles and ms cant even be bothered to make sure their flagship games launch with a 60fps option on their more powerful console.
