Yeah, I don’t see the benefit of having a monthly “lol look at the this crap compared to PS+” thing. I really don’t see the point.
As nice as it is to even get free games. This month completely sucks. Like holy cow, they completely dropped the ball on Games With Gold.
I’ve only been playing it for a few minutes, but I have a feeling Windbound is not too bad. Looks nice and colourful, very clear Zelda influence, third person action adventure with crafting elements it seems to have.
Give it a chance at least.

Does anyone compare or even care about GwG at this point though?
Anytime I see PS+ being compared with something it’s GP, MS dont care about it looking shit, they want them in GP
I usually care about things I pay for getting worse yes.

GWG should have been taken out the back and shot a long time ago.
When do we think they’ll ditch it completely? It will happen eventually, surely.
I was interested in Praetorians but not enough to buy it so I at least have that…
The other day I was looking though my digitally owned games and saw I owned Gears 5 through GWG. I didn’t really remember when that happened but in a search it was January of last year. I already owned Resident Evil and Lost Planet before this but it was a pretty good month if you didn’t own any of these.
We probably won’t have another one like it.
That one only happened because they were trying to increase the price of Gold. They tossed Gears 5 in there as a distraction but as we all know it didn’t work

Yeah, MS needed to act with SONY giving away free games in the PS3 days with the sub, but now Games with Gold is just turning into a easy excuse for people to make fun on the service on line.
I think Games with Gold should now be dropped.
All I hear are people screaming for gold to be shut down. These same people will be crying about how they can’t do the gold to gamepass upgrade trick anymore, as soon as gold ends.

I get that people are like shut it down, but I personally don’t want them to. If they shut GwG down and that’s it, what benefit would it be to us? I rather have these not so great games with sometimes some fun stuff in there, than nothing at all with our Gold subs. It’s not like they are going to lower the price of Gold.

Yeah the only chance I see them shutting it down is when/if they drop Gold.

Thing is they should either get rid of XBLG/online paywall for consoles (which as many of us here said many times doesn’t make sense with the way the whole Xbox ecosystem works right now) or actually make the games better or at least keep the quality at the same level as it was before.
And to be clear I wasn’t a hater of the program in the last two years or so because there were some quality games in there (especially some of the 360 BC titles like Lost Planet 2, Dead Rising, KoFXIII, Zone of the Enders 2 e.t.c.) but October and November are just not good…especially when you consider that they reduced the games from 4 to 2.
If I had to choose it would be to get rid of Gold/online paywall because I think this move will benefit the Xbox platform a lot in the long run but if they won’t do that at least don’t make Games with Gold worse than before.
