I had a friend who was hyped about Hydrophobiaâs water physics before it released. Crazy to think that was over a decade agoâŚ
I really enjoyed Hydrophobia when it came out, despite some jank. The water tech in it is something I donât see used in such a way to this day, which makes it a very unique experience.

Yeah. I mean we always get the argument that itâs all going to Game Pass, but does that mean it has to be thisâŚwellâŚto put it nicely not good? There have been really months, and surely there are some actually good older titles for both One and 360 they could get?

Had to look up all the titles, except Broken Sword, and appearantly Hydrophobia is the first episode of three planned, but the game was so bad they killed both the other games and the studio? Sound like perfect for GwG!

But I was watching a Griffin video covering Dreamcast Guy talking about how lackluster PS Plus is next month and yeah, not too great at all. I thought Plus was supposed to be so damn good?

For a while there I thought it was bad on purpose to get us to not care when they remove Gold. But⌠it has been going on for so long now that I donât believe that is the case anymore. Itâs just shit.
I guess itâs bad because the budget is borderline non-existant, the last good month was 1 year ago when they tried the price stunt, lmao. I hope GP reaches the rumoured threshold as soon as possible and they get rid of it. With COD it will be a faster process I think, imagine how much powerful would be announcing âget COD on GP and no online paywall anymoreâ.
Maybe they kill it sooner when Spartacus hits, could be a good time to re-do some services.
If thatâs really a rehash of Plus and Now bundled together, itâs hardly threatening, even less now they have AB under control, which was a potential huge boon for Sony, considering their previous alliance.
Not because itâs a threat, but there wonât be a direct equivalent on PS so they might as well do something else with Gold, like merge it into GP or something.
Could boost the numbers for GP as well, since there will be inevitable comparisons with Spartacus numbers (media and Cult will ignore that it is not the same).
