As @CallMeCraig already said Flight Sim looks completely bonkers but If we are talking about traditional AAA games we still haven’t seen the new, current-gen games from the big boys aka id, Playground, The Coalition and 4A Games so let’s wait for them before we come to any conclusions.

Xbox exclusives do have the stage to showcase great fidelity, especially when majority if not all are not live service and cross-gen.

I can’t speak for any Sony games since I don’t own a PS5 but I don’t think games will get much better than fh5 in terms of looks. I mean graphics are insane and there is 0 lag while going 300 mph, I expect hat to be the cap of this gen.
FH5 is still cross gen. It can get better. Hellblade 2 is gone to melt eyeballs.

FH5 itself got visually better and more consistent with its DLC. FH6 will look better, crossgen or not

This is going out of topic but, am I the only one that feels like graphics don’t need to improve further? Games can get bigger and better with innovative gameplay mechanics but I feel graphics are just fine even if they stay the same for the next 5 years. I mean hellblade 2 looked close to photo realistic, it probably won’t be that on the series x but on PC it could, what more than photo realism is there? And do we really want / need it?

I think Hellblade 2 is where I think we could stop and from there innovate on gameplay and interactivity

I’m with you. I just want good games. The kind of games you think about when not playing, itching to get back to play some more. Great characters to get to know, exciting stories, worlds you can immerse yourself in.

Yeah, as good as fh5 is, I’m expecting fh6 to be much prettier and probably add destruction and some other tricks. Playground and Turn10 do a great job of iterating the engine between each title, and they’re very good at adding more each time.

Might not have to wait to see something prettier from Playground though as Fable is using Forza Tech so that might be their first truely next gen tour de force!

I forgot today is 3 hours earlier, so everyone is still sleeping.
Agreed that Fable should look amazing as well, but I’m expecting it to look more fantastical and less like real life.

Playstation Showcase received negative reception. Summer Game Fest received a mixed reception, lean more on positive. Could Xbox be the complete positive? 2 more days to go!

The response to this game is asinine. We should be celebrating Ubisoft making creative and fun projects again. The game looks great and deserves to be supported. It’s the Rayman Legends team, for christ’s sake.
