Were in a modern tech age where gameplay isnt going to be shown until were close to release. Unless its safe gameplay. Why would theyve show fable gameplay now when it will look far more polished and better later
We need to go back to āCRAIGā after that. Outlets who complain about no Gamplayā¦can fuck off. Any little bad detail will get magnified and in a generation of dumb fuckers on twitter and communites on major sites it only created huge negativity which effects the games in question.
This applies to sony as well. They didnt show spiderman gameplay until now 4 months before its supposed to come out.

My personal favorite is where Fable gets slammed for looking too good and being smoke and mirrors and Avowed gets slammed by the same person for looking like a last-gen game.

Doesnāt surprise me at all.
Years ago during Xbox One and PS4 the chats on IGN and Gamespot would be full of idiots celebrating the bad news about Xbox One. These people are extremely silly, grownups for fuckās sake.

Canāt bring myself to share it but there is a eurogamer article about Starfield and itās an absolute doozy. By the same guy who went to Europe to cover the Microsoft PR event on the ABK deal.

Iāll be completely honest, if you watched that Starfield direct and didnāt come away thinking āThat game looks coolā, you donāt like videogames. Even if it didnāt compel you to play it, I canāt imagine anyone watching that and not saying āthat looks pretty cool, videogames are coolā.
The fact that so many adults are looking for reasons to tear down that game makes me depressed. It really does.

Here are my thoughts on the Showcase/Starfield Direct
Fable: I was 95% PG could pull it off but was worried about the characters models with Forzatech with that said they killed it love everything I seen of it cant wait to see more
South of Midnight: Didnt like We Happy Few so this studio wasnāt on my radar but after this showing I am interested in it just need to see gameplay
Avowed: It was more colorful then I thought it would be but I am hyped as hell for it
Flight Sim 2024: I am happy for people who love it just not for me with that said tho I didnt know it was a new game at first I am just stupid for that haha
Hellblade 2: Not going to lie this was a huge miss for me not cause it doesnt look great but beacause the thing I want to see is the combat
Forza M: Turn 10 is great that is all
Towerborne: Never played Banner Saga with that said I loved the way this look cant wait to play it
Clockwork Revolution: Game of the show for me if we dont include Starfield got that Bioshock feel to it and as someone who never played a inXile game this got me hyped as well for them
Starfield: I was surprised at how long it was and at first didnt know how long I was going to watch it but man they killed it every second was great the game is massive cant wait for Sept 6 this is going sound crazy but I think it has a chance to take on Zelda for GOTY
3rd Party: Had alot of diversity from Starwars Outlaws to Metaphor ReFantazio and I love it
Indies: Great looking titles 33 Imortals and Dungeons of Hinterberg look sick
Overall great show really hope this is the standard going forward if I had to give it a score 8.5

Maybe he has a point though. I mean, no one enjoyed Skyrim because they had already played Oblivion before. And obviously Tears of the Kingdom is hated by everyone who already played Breath of the Wild before.
