Very satisfying to watch and to think we didn’t see any new games from any of the Bethesda Softworks studios the deck is stacked for the future.
They really need to have a better showing where they focus on the narrative elements instead of the combat… As they said, this isn’t their Skyrim, so why not actually show that?
What are you talking about? Avowed comes out in 2024?
And just imagine how much they have not shown, you can bet there are tons of handcrafted caves/dungeons to explore that they intentionally left out here. I definitely expect some crazy cool planets and locations.
Combat is looking really damn good now too. But when it comes to the faces something is off, it’s like lighting is missing or something, they often look flat compared to last year.

Starfield looks like a dream come true…

Wanted to see some more Fable after they teased it. Would’ve been better if they hadn’t teased it beforehand. Happy to see how it will look though.

wanted to see some more Avowed and it doesn’t seem it will release H1 of 2024. Which is okay, because they definitely need to give the game some global lightning to make it look good.

Hellblade 2 trailer did little for me. Could’ve shown off some more gameplay. It did look good running on Series X though.

Tbf Obsidian never said it’s a Skyrim kinda game.
It’s probably because of the graphics. If you were expecting it to look ballpark to what was at the end of that announcement trailer, I imagine you’re disappointed.

Yeah the lighting really was lacking in Avowed, especially noticeable in that cave area. Maybe we need to see more but visually didn’t seem like a big step up from ToW. But I’ll gladly eat they crow if I’m wrong on that.
I think we are gonna get much more gameplay stuff for Fable and Avowed during Developer Direct.
But in space.

Fable, South of Midnight, Avowed, Starfield, Clockwork Revolution, Hellblade 2, Towerborne(cousin of the Dragonborne), Sea of Thieves, Flightsim24 Ballon adventures!
This showcase was great I pretty much want to play everything showed off.

Lumen is probably still vaporware lol. Still really excited for the game. Definitely looks like it will still my Elder Scrolls and Pillars of Eternity itch. Also reminded me Dark messiah of might and magic, which is a good thing. With some tweaking of the animations and a new look of lighting it will probably look and play pretty good

They actually just said that in a post-show interview.
When they revealed the game in 2020, the aim was to have their own Skyrim. But that vision changed through the years and this is where they landed.

It was really nice to see a great focus on first-party again, in addition with some great Game Pass additions. Nice to see Capcom there again.
