Edit: Since AtlusWest leaked, one thing that could make the p3r stand out at the showcase even more, is if they have a FeMC version of the trailer. But that’s just more hopium for myself and people that want to see her return.
This is where I am now. I would guess Persona was more of a DeFacto exclusive than one that Sony is actively paying to keep off of xbox for like FF. I think Persona is basically like Yakuza where now that pretty much all of the mainline games are on xbox , all future games will be as well.
What game do you care about? It seem to me you don’t care for much. I know you like Ubisoft games and Witcher 3. You don’t like classic JRPG’s? Persona to me is better than Final Fantasy. P5 Royale is a masterpiece while FF 16 has basically become another 3rd person action game. FF has lost it roots.
would love it if gematsu and many other japanese-focused sites and influencers are also doing an ‘investigation’ when a japanese game announced as PS exclusive. not just when xbox get japanese stuff 1st before PS.

Persona 5 Royal was better than anything Square Enix has developed in a decade and more. There’ll always be elitists who look only at how AAA games are, sadly, but the budget doesn’t always speak of the quality.
P3 Remake looks AMAZING and is a massive boon for Game Pass. It’s the biggest entry in Japan by far, think the FF7 of the franchise, and will drive subs.
Tactics looks great IMO. Happy not to see Kasumi and Akechi, but wouldn’t have minded Zenkichi making an appearance. On that note, Strikers on Game Pass is an open goal and I reckon it’s happening soon if not announced at the show.

Was going to make this exact same point. Jet Set Radio is likely the first Super Game that was signed as part of the MS-SEGA deal, with Persona 6 and Crazy Taxi games following.

I know we already knew about Hi-Fi Rush existing and being announced at the DD, but I’m still shocked that nothing from the actual game leaked. We didn’t know what it looked like or what kind of game it was until they announced it.
I hope we don’t get any first party leaks ahead of Sunday.
