By the way, are the folks Prototype 1 and 2 still at ABK?
Technically Radical Entertainment doesn’t exist anymore but it was merged into Activision from what I understand.

Oh god Ark 2 is an Xbox exclusive? 
I kinda hate that they’re spending the money on that garbo. I know its popular and all but man… Ark is so bad.

Ah yes, I remember how a lot of people had the impression that Ark 2 was going to be a singleplayer action adventure. I honestly thought that initially too. I wish it was.

I wonder how much interest there would be for a third one, I’d sure be interested. But that’s the thing with these acquired studios and developers, we may wish something will come into existence but it’s entirely possible they’ll either stay on CoD or make something totally different.
Looking at it it seems like a lot of staff were laid off before the remaining staff were put to work supporting other studios beofre the studio was shut. Seems unlikely there’s much to recover there, it’s not like Vicarious Visions where they’ve been merged into Blizzard but are still a separate office to the rest of Blizzard. It would be nice though, Prototype was fun and we don’t really get a lot of games like that any more.

There’s supposed to be more of a campaign, whatever that means, since Vin Diesel is involved and used for one of the characters. The good news is Ark 2 is using UE5. It shouldn’t be as bad as Ark 1, which used UE4 but without any of the absolutely required developer rewrites to make it work with Open World style games.

I wonder if we will see gameplay this year?
I’d be curious as to what that would actually entail - their careers site seems to allude to a new AAA IP, ESO Online, and a mobile game. In the Lead Mobile Designer posting, they reference the following:
“Zenimax Online Studios is hiring a talented and experienced Lead Mobile Designer passionate about games and ZeniMax intellectual properties. If you’re a fan of The Elder Scrolls, or looking to work on an exciting new IP, this is the place for you!”
Of course that could certainly be referencing ESO. But if I had to make a bet, I’m thinking they’re making a mobile RTS for Elder Scrolls, alongside a major new MMORPG project. That would correspond well with the posting and that speculation
Jesus christ xbox really needs to improve their marketing. How is there even people in their own reddit that doesn’t know all bethesda games post ghost wire and deathloop will be in gamepass and those will be in gamepass when they come to the platform. Saying don’t preorder it literally makes 0 sense since its in gamepass.
