This is very similar to something I said here recently. BGS have been influential but they didn’t have any copycats or clones which says something about how specialized they really are

I don’t agree with you on Halo Infinite, sorry. To me, it’s the best Halo ever and you talk of Playground Games, they’ve already been working on Fable for 4 years and we have nothing other than CGI intro to go on (Ok I get 2 years was no doubt getting the new line up and running) Lots of games takes years to develop, just look how long it took to make GT 6 or The Last Guardian , never mind the development hell that Baytoneta 3 and Prime 4 seem to be in
I’m sick of all this talk of MS buying studios and indeed how many studios MS now own, Its really time for Xbox to start showing the games and they really need to start with the Summer Showcase

they can easily keep infinite running for 10 years, they can give players to alter the file size by adding removing maps, campaigns etc. which is already in the game.
I’m really starting to get a good feeling about ZOS’s next game being revealed on June 12th.

The fact that we’re getting a big reveal of Starfield is way more exciting than if it had been a new TES or Fallout. Don’t get me wrong, I am super stoked for TES VI but at the end of the day we know what it will be like. Also in terms location variety it very likely won’t be as diverse as Starfield.
That fact alone makes it so exciting in my opinion, we are not getting “just” one world and that’s it, no, they are bringing multiple worlds/planets and all have a huge chance of being very different from each other. Todd and team can go all out with that, and since it’s his dream game I see no reason why they wouldn’t have.
We likely will get a game with the most diverse locations by BGS yet.
Personally I think TES reveal would generate more excitement because it is TES. Starfield is a new IP.
Overall for sure. But for me personally I am so ready for a new IP by my favorite studio.
