Yeah even if they show some games that will be multiplat, I wouldn’t mention playstation at all

Plaster xbox/gamepass logos and nothing else, when people see Bethesda’s games going forward they should automatically associate them with xbox, ditching any mention of playstation is the best way of doing that

I wonder when xbox will be able to start advertising Deathloop, I know it’s not available for at least a year but does that include marketing also

Bethesda until now still a full multiplatform publisher, its fanbase still in all platforms, this fact will remain years ahead. So the best choice is to keep the publisher do it own things, just put Xbox logo all over the place and no exclusive content for other platforms.

What? The only difference between Xbox and Bethesda shows is that BGS will have FO76 / TESO multiplatform content. Everything else is essentially Xbox shows but with Bethesda label.

I wish Xbox did some stuff like Sony with their exclusives modes for multiplatform games etc.

As Klobrille suggested a rebrand should occur to Xbox Originals for all of their games that are produced. In addition, there should be no separation of shows, everything should be intertwined putting the Xbox ecosystem front and center.

About the show: This is my less than stellar and very vague want for it.

• I think it should be one show, about 120 minutes.

• Name the show, Game Pass Showcase! and everything game included should be coming to Game Pass, not a definite as I’m sure Microsoft would like to show off other games coming to Xbox but not Game Pass.

• The first 90 minutes begins with Redfall gameplay and release date followed by XGS games that have gameplay to show and 3rd party games, with a mix of game play and trailers, ending with a gameplay for Forza Motorsports with a release date.

• With the last 30 minutes the lights out, a piece from Starfield starts to play as we are greeted to a ship flying through space. Lights come back on Todd Howards on stage, and we get treated to his usual narration of the game, as the game play comes to an end, show off view of all the worlds we could visit as we fly over the landscape. Before ending with a reaffirmation of the release date.

• Next day they can have dev talks and we could even hear about what to expect in the modding scene with Starfield, and some talk about the world of Redfall, a new gameplay show case for Forza Motorsports as well as talk about what features it will have at launch, so we don’t get the whole confusion we got with Forza Horizon 5 and at what resolution it was running in 30 and 60 fps modes.

Xbox is a platform and represents PC as well. The only place I play games on PC is through the Xbox App. Rebranding Xbox as their brand everywhere will help association. For instance people think of Xbox as the console as you did here, but people could think of Xbox as Xbox Originals if they play elsewhere, like through steam, switch or PS.

Xbox Originals will make people think that the game is Xbox console exclusive. Xbox branding is too deeply ingrained with the console.

Okay, Gamepass Originals. I’m not sold on any particular phrase. But they need a single, common marketing terminology that signifies the games are associated to one entity.

Are we still in late 2020? Bethesda is no longer fully multiplatform it’s been known for over a year that all of their new titles will only come to Xbox and PC starting with Redfall and then Starfield.

Idk you can still play an Xbox game on PC since it’s Xbox Game Studios it’s similar to how God of War or Horizon are Playstation games (PlayStation Studios) despite being on PC.
