Witcher 3 went on and on, even if you didn’t do side stuff and I loved every second of it. Dragging is never a good thing, but Witcher 3 wasn’t that for me. Personally I’m hoping Avowed offers plenty of hours for story and more with side stuff included.

Yeah, a long game is not a problem if it is good. Let’s not nerf our RPG’s to fit the people who just want a snack. There’s plenty of short games out there.

Fallout 4 is getting a Next-Gen upgrade:

Yeah, I’m kinda done with F4 so would rather have taken a 76 upgrade tbh.

It’s better to have a short quality game
Offcourse, one can get quality on a long game as well but game development is not easy at this point.
Better to have quality short games with impact moments
Specially when we have Bethesda in the team, no need to make such long games

We actually got several people convinced now that Starfield will definitely get delayed.
Because of the random post about Fallout 4 patch next year. 
Speaking of the patch, I’m surprised they’re actually having different modes for the game. Just 4K/60fps would be expected, maybe they will add some visual things to the other mode after all. But remains to be seen at what framerate.
Wishful thinking from people who can’t be arsed to play RPG’s but wants to pretend they do.

Agreed. Let them rot I would say. Sony is showing what a asshole of a company it can be, here we have MS being the good guy…again! Nobody is forcing them to make an update for PS5.

Fable and SoD 3 are also delayed because of the Fallout patch not only that but Obsidian is cancelling Grounded and refunding everyone and are also being shut down as a studio. Not only this but the Halo content pipeline is also being closed down so they can focus on making more tie ins with companies, all staff on the game including programmers are all moving to the merchandise part of 343 and they will all focus purely on merchandising.

(Sorry for my recent sarcastic and silly comments recently, just starting to get fed up with insiders or people who take one thing and blow it up to an entirely different thing and then people start to run with this weird ass narrative)

It is possible that it can move to the second half of 2023. We don’t know the state of the game at this point.
I don’t expect Redfall to be delayed, but Starfield is a wildcard.
Agreed on that, I’m fully prepared for more bad news. Bad news because man…the wait fucking sucks, but it’s not bad news if it means a better game.
That being said, at some point they should just release it. I love BGS, but we all know their games don’t ever launch flawless. Well, nothing does, especially nowadays, goddamn.
