Hype can’t wait for 1.0 a friend and I dropped it to wait for the story and 1.0, it was already fun so can’t wait for more.

I’ve waited so long to actually play grounded. It’s soooooo close!

I know that they don’t count for some people, but Deathloop and Grounded coming out as first party games for the Fall is pretty nice.

Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion and you’re more than welcome to be interested in or not interested in whatever games you want, but I personally can’t understand being into Dishonored and Redfall but not into Deathloop or Prey. They’re so similar and just as good as each other, thanks to the Arkane DNA!

I wouldn’t expect anything other than Starfield, Redfall, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, Ara History Untold, and the Xbox version of Ghostwire next year.

You forgot Diablo IV (ABK will be owned by then). You really don’t think the second half of 2023 will have ANYTHING? Even if it was just Hellblade 2 and Project Belfry?

Me too… Will wait until the E3 show and decide from there

I’m not sure Hellblade 2 is far enough along to release next year, early 2024 seems more realistic. And yeah, was only including MS’s currently owned owned studios in my prediction.

But about the latter half of year, I’m not seeing anything that would be ready, perhaps Project Belfry or Contraband. I would say Avowed but apparently that’s been “rebooted” so who knows.

Avowed was supposedly “rebooted” in 2020 so that would still be three years under the new direction by end of 2023. Having said that, I think Hellblade has a higher chance of releasing in 2023 than Avowed, based on what Schreier and Grubb said recently. It will have been 4 years since announcement and 6 years since Hellblade 1.

I’m expecting early 2024 for Avowed but would be delighted to be wrong. Right now, I think we’ll get Belfry, Contraband and Hellblade in the second half of 2023.

The Banner Saga 3 released 4 years ago, Belfry shouldn’t be too far away.

If they don’t have anything big for the second half they can always decide to just move either Starfield or Redfall to the second half.:smiling_imp:

Kidding. There’s no point in doing that if the games itself are completely ready. I think there will be something for holiday 2023 too. The Grubb stuff, is that based on what he recently heard or is it basically the very old news now?

I understand but that doesn’t necessarily mean they started development or even pre-prod 4 years ago. Studios can sometimes go a year or two without meaningful progress, especially due to miss Rona

They’re different types of games that play different, have a different premise and simply, not exactly the same. Dishonored is great and im hyped for Redfall as it’s my type of game - a looter shooter with RPG elements. Prey isn’t and neither is Deathloop.

But like I always say, to each their own.

They’re all immersive sims, though? They are all variations and evolutions of Arkane’s formula.

To each their own I guess.

I genuinely think people should just prepare Starfield holiday 2023, Xbox probably don’t want to push anything out unless it’s 1000%.

I can see marketing reasons to do that as well and if the second half is empty that could be a good reason to do it.

Redfall - March

Minecraft Legends - June

Forza Motorsport - August

Ara - September

Starfield - November

If Hellblade 2 is 2023 then they won’t need to do any shuffling

True, and by the looks of things they’ve expanded a lot so Belfry will likely be a bigger production than TBS. I still think it’s coming late '23.
