It’s probably this studio made up of a few 343i staff that left. I think Halo Infinite has broke the camels back and some of the long time devs have had enough of Halo and want to move on, with the community Halo has I don’t blame them.
Yeah they’re building that studio for NetEase.
Ah didn’t know it was for them, I think this is probably a good thing in the long run. I think 343i needs a big reset and refocus. Bringing Joe back on board is probably that and maybe these people leaving might not like the changes so they’re leaving. Obviously all speculation but I do think there is probably a old vet Halo dev power struggle with newer devs and the team being pulled in two different directions.
I don’t know what 343 need to be a more optimal 1st party studio, I honestly don’t, I think too much is expected of them because of the Halo legacy and all the different core components and wildly varying expectations it has. It’s probably impossible to have focus in their situation.

The whole not wanting to make people mad is nonsense, they aren’t keeping CoD on playstation to not make people mad, they are doing it because it makes the most sense money wise
Starfield and ES6 will be xbox exclusive because it makes the most sense money wise and people will and are most certainly mad about that
Putting games like Crash and Spyro exclusively on xbox/gamepass far outweighs getting a few extra million sales at best on Playstation/Switch etc, same thought process they had for Bethesda

Just finished the first episode of As dusk falls and it’s the most immersive narrative game I’ve ever played. Tough choices, dramatic character building, emotional story telling, and fluent multi-character scenario really deserve a nomination for best story game of the year.

Can kids play this game or is it for mature audience?
Hot Wheels DLC for Forza Horizon 5 is like a brand new game. So gorgeous and generous, there’s like 15 hours worth of content in there.
