it does till you release there are 16 games labeled final fantasy (excluding all the spinoffs :p)
Yeah, and there’s no way this is going to happen. Besides, didn’t Todd call both Starfield and TES VI singleplayer games to Geoff Keighley years ago, right after the announcement of the two games?
They announced the two games to assure fans of SP that just because their next game was F76, it didn’t mean they were done with SP games.
I think this goes for Fable too, what will it do for dialogue systems?
I’ve never played Fable with co-op but I imagine it’ll work however it used to in the past.
I never played the games in co-op myself either, haha. Its been many years that I played Fable last.
But I agree with Sun, please just leave these huge singleplayer games as they are. People can play TES in co-op in TESO, or F76.
But I don’t think Todd liking co-op means anything for TES VI.
Yeah, I don’t even remember what the dialogue system was like lol
I’m not sure there were even normal conversations with NPCs other than story characters. I remember using those emotes on NPCs and such, but I don’t recall many dialogue options/choices if at all.
I really would not mind if PG inserts all of their own ideas into it and that for the most part it’s just Fable in name and not much else, of course keeping the humor.
I don’t remember it having meaningful choices aside killing characters (like kill your former schoolmate in the arena).
Timur on Twitter now says he doesn’t believe TES VI will have co-op either. Not that he knows more than anyone of us on that.
TES 6 should have a social strand system
Do we expect anything at Gamescom from XGS or something like Wo Long maybe? Wo Long is probably more like a TGS thing.
Who knows. I find it odd that the game that supposed to launch within half a year did not have any gameplay though.
Maybe we’ll see something like Ara. I doubt there will be anything “big”, however.
Have you actually played it? In any meaningful way, Starfield actually beats that game.
Star Citizen is more on the simulation side.
I actually think it would be smart if MS could look into Star Citizen and see if they can help get that game to actually release, have a partnership and have it as an Xbox console exclusive. They’d have the two definitive space exploration games.
Nope, I haven’t. Have really only seen some videos. I assume it lacks much of the RPG side of things that Starfield has.
Absolutely. Much less of an RPG, and even Starfield has some simulation layers like the base building that Star Citizen still hasn’t added (but are planned to). It’s an MMO/Space-sim, admittedly very hard to categorize overall
Star Citizen is essentially a set of tech demos that runs on pyramid scheme.
I believe there’s a lot there to make a great complete game
That’s the problem - having a set pieces there and there, does not make it a complete game. To draw a parallel - imagine making Cyberpunk 2077 type of game, but having completed only the ability to tune the car in the garage.
I don’t see SC being completed at all - their team does not have a full cohesive vision of a complete game - but only a set of ideas what they want to have. They also started to milk their fanbase long time ago but that’s an entirely different topic - a lot of “fan made” games are suffering from that.
Absolutely not. Microsoft should avoid Star Citizen and Chris Roberts Industries like the plague, just like they avoid NFT and other schemes.
