Quake don’t move me at all but in iD we trust.
Hope it’s doesn’t feel too similar to Doom. Would have been great to see them build a completely new IP.

Agreed. However, I wouldn’t mind ID working with Avalanche Studios for a Rage 3 nor would I mind The Coalition working on an M rated Punisher game!!!

Goddamn, that looks like some amazing locations. One of these days I gotta go check this game out.
Hoping it has its own feel, like a little slower in terms of movement. The super fast movement from the Doom reboot…I wasn’t hugely fond of it.

I really enjoyed Rage 2 more than the first game even though it should be wide linear at most instead of open world but the combat/gameplay/shooting mechanics/abilities were excellent and the story/characters was solid albeit too short. Music and voice acting was also good. Only negatives I had was that the car combat was two steps back compared to Mad Max and the story missions were way too little. Also a step back from Mad Max even though I enjoyed the story and was into it.

As a Marvel fan I would still prefer a reboot of Soldier of Fortune, that game was absolutely brutal!
After SoF I’d definitely like to see Raven do Punisher though.

Yeah, sorry I meant I’d prefer Xbox (assuming ABK completes) do a Soldier of Fortune reboot before we get a Punisher game.
I personally think Raven (who did SoF) would potentially make a better Punisher game then The Coalition. The gore in SoF is exactly what The Punisher needs.

Im down for a modern take on Lovecraftian horror feel like alot of people try to do lovecraft but few actually succeed so in ID i trust. Bring on quake

A new Quake that is thematically in line with the lovecraftian horrors of the first game is my most wanted game.
The idea that it is similar to doom is one of the most ludicrous takes I’ve seen circulating recently. All FPS games are similar. All racing games are similar. All survival horror games are similar. It’s the small details that set them apart.
