I hope not, Unreal is quickly becoming the defacto engine to use and I don’t want to see that become the only engine.
People really need to stop posting shite rumours from people that know nothing.
For all its faults, 343’s tech (which is based on Bungie’s old tech) is important to creating the “Halo feel”. They would essentially have to start from scratch if they swapped to Unreal and all of their time and work put into Slipspace (which is still based on old Bungie/343 tech) would be wasted.

slipspace engine is how you have 30+ enemy encounters with the great ai halo is known for in an open world game with great physics and vehicle travel. engine does what it needs to do. on last gen consoles.

Use of other engine is proposed to fix the short coming of the existing one not the other way around
UE is so much versatile that devs can easily make there own plugins for physics if they need to. That’s why it’s liked by so many studios and even great studios like CD are switching to it

No one said anything about Creation Engine . don’t make noise for nothing , we know about how is it useful in making bethesda games and the features on it like Radiant AI , Radiant Story etc help in making a bethesda games feeling
