Yeah 2023 should be the year where they start taking conferences and events more seriously. But we will see.

True. Sony out here having games like HFW, GT, Ghostwire Tokyo, just had Sifu too and on top of that a show in March? Man PS only folks be eating good. And it wouldn’t surprise me if Sony shows something from their own studios as well.
We can’t really know how these things go behind the scenes, but it’s ok for us to not be too happy about all this silence. Something more throughout the year to keep the fans focused, interested and looking forward to stuff. This is probably better for the thread dedicated to it, but those two things I’d really like to see them do better in. More than just one “E3” show and more releases throughout the year, don’t put it all in the last few months of the year. But there will come a point where they can’t possibly keep it all until August or so, there’ll be too much.

I dropped a long ass “feedback” in his office forms . 
The ones without a big anchor game are kinda bad though, not what I want to see from Xbox. If you don’t have a draw for your show, why have one.

Can’t help but think Xbox is waiting for this week to blow over before they start talking again.
Other side of the coin… I really hope they have something before E3 time. If Sony have a big show in March Xbox would will have gifted them so much free momentum. Not that they haven’t earned some with Sifu, H:FW and GT7 upcoming.
This isn’t a push and pull thing imo, they all have spaces in the year to dominate the news cycle.
There’s no such thing as momentum in an era where you can’t find these consoles on the shelves. (unless you’re the Series S)
Would it be nice if we had something to talk about ? absolutely but I just don’t think they’re as concerned as xbox fans are in terms of PS dominating the news cycle for the first 3-4 months of the year.
I think late April/May is when we should start being actually concerned.

Yeah, that’s a good point because it’s very hard to find a Series X or PS5. However, I do feel a good showing of a game like Starfield can make somebody impulse buy a Series S.

For sure, I’m not saying they shouldn’t do a showcase in the next month or 2. I’m just simply saying they’re not concerned about PS dominating the new cycle as of right now.

Whenever the competition does anything, the natives get restless and have this desperate need for a reaction.
Xbox will show off whatever they have when they are ready too, i think the next wee while is going to be rough for some, lol

I am sure they could have showed Avowed already but based on reports some lighting and effects were not implemented yet and that would have caused overreactions
