I read a rumor somehwere that it was going to be revealed this year. And GTA5 released 2 years after its reveal.
Nah man GTA6 would drive subs through the roof.

GTA6 on gamepass day 1 isn’t happening unless microsoft buys take two. Otherwise that kind of third party deal would cost hundreds of millions of dollars, maybe more. 'Sides the whole point of all these acquisitions is to have enough games that they don’t need third party deals as much, I’m sure across all their teams they’ll have something good in 2024. Maybe not something on the scale of GTA6 granted.
Yep, and it’s counterproductive to the whole point of buying a publisher and folding its structure underneath as a separate branch. We’ve already seen how Xbox was able to do just that with Bethesda and, aside from the abusers, I expect Activision’s integration to be the same. Really, Hindle I don’t know where people come up with these scare-tactics when the precedent disproves them already.
Oh yeah definitely agree. I am just under the assumption that MS may not be able to buy Take Two due to regulation concerns or maybe Take Two doesnt want to sell. Getting GTA6 on Gamepass is the next best thing in that scenario
I’d rather they spend the 3 billion plus that would cost on getting better themselves.
The news COD is skipping a year is interesting to me because of the timing. Let’s face it COD is a cash cow for AB and they would have normally moved heaven and hell to get one out(as they’ve done previously moving other studios onto the projects) but with the buyout it gives them some breathing room. By the time the game would have normally come out(November 2023)they will either be under Microsoft or the deal would have been blocked(not saying that is happening) and they get the $3bn payment from Microsoft to cover the potential losses. Those forcasts that Stephen Totilo posted from the AB investment call are very interesting. Seems they have high hopes for their games to come out over the next few years if they see bumps that high in revenue which is a good sign for Microsoft’s gaming division and gamepass
New Starfield trailer later today right guys?
Yea im expecting a huge amount of info from now untill launch
Current number of open positions within XGS, Bethesda and ABK as well even though the deal has still to go through (includes temporary positions and I took these from their websites, keep in mind this is just a rough approximate idea because sometimes it’s not updated regularly and can be out of date + some people leave and have to be replaced too so it’s not pure growth. And maybe some numbers are wrong. But still interesting):

I hope they show Spiderman 2 gameplay Or Cory’s sci-fi game .
I would personally expect it during DICE awards. More eyes probably.
Or maybe just random IGN video.
They will show SF6
Oh no doubt about that .
I personally have some doubts, but we will see. I wonder if they will do Spartacus announcement?
Oh yea I forgot about that . Gonna be a big show then . Spartacus + PSVR2 + PS5 exclusives.
Well, maybe Xbox will show something in June. I hope.
or they don’t have content to show or they are incompetent or they don’t care. SoP/Direct is such a good format. there’s no reason not to make one too.
probably they don’t have content or wait for E3 (or whatever it is gonna be called)
Let’s just wait and see if it’s actually a great show at all. But I do agree that this is something hopefully MS will change. If Nintendo and Sony can have these Direct shows, MS can too. You do not need to keep it all for E3, hell, you have so many studios and games now, it’s too much for just one show really.
They first need to reach the stable cadence of releases. But I think nothing should prevent from making smaller Game Pass Shows but alas…
That’s partially a myth…Sony does shows even without 1st party (most SoP were based on 3rd party), because they bother to grab exclusives to cover their holes…MS does not, it’s that simple.
From 2023 onwards the lack of better presence during the year will become inexcusable, they already have a huge 1st party establishment, next year it’ll become bigger than competitors put together…
