I don’t think it is that much of a big deal. In the tweet it implies it is now feature complete, so for all intents and purpose I assume you can build your games now with all the features that engine brings, and the full version will mainly bring bug fixes etc.
It’s not like once the engine is full released, that is it. The engine will constantly be worked on.
Interesting article. I wonder if the likes of playground, ninja theory and Rare may open second studios on the continent to help mitigate some of the issues
I finished reading Masters of Doom the other day and I highly recommend it if you want to have a deep dive on an Xbox Game Studio, id Software. Also everyone should play Brutal Doom, I installed it on my PC last night. What an incredible game Doom 2 with mods is.
Ghostwire Tokyo is pretty much guaranteed. Also, I think a campaign expansion is possible for Halo Infinite and either Deathloop or Redfall is possible as well.
I can see two different scenarios for Fall 2022/Jan-Mar 2023.
Deathloop in late September, Forza Motorsport in October and Starfield on November 11th. Redfall in February 2023 and Ghostwire Tokyo in late March 2023.

I prefer option #1 because im expecting the Fall to be packed and stacked in general so since I have no interest in Deathloop or FM, I can concentrate on all the third party multi-platform games as im expecting at least 5 between August and December. Also, im very interested in Redfall and don’t really want to see it release this Fall because I don’t see it doing much where as an early 2023 release would be far better in my opinion. Either way, I hope Microsoft spreads out the games even if they’re ready.
