Damn no one played Inscryption?
you know what i mean, psnow has never been pushed
GotG is in my top 5 this year for sure, I just don’t know where to place it, because obviously the 1st party stuff should come first, but DAMN GotG is great.
Like I’m thinking:
- Halo Infinite
- Forza Horizon 5
- Psychonauts 2
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- ???
I want Guardians to be higher, but Xbox had BANGERS this year. I feel like that needs to be more rewarded.
So many games in the list are XGS or on Game Pass. Definitely “perfect for Game Pass” games.
It will be more than fine for the vast majority of people IMO. The perspective here will, as with all things, will be skewed by like 5 people obviously not being satisfied with that blueprint.
I always place Halo on the top, because when Halo is great, there’s nothing else like it.
And right now, there’s nothing else like Halo Infinite that feels as good to play both in single and multiplayer.
You rang?
It’s unfortunate that MS are getting games on the service that are literally a net positive for everyone involved… Ok.
I mean, majority of people don’t play on Xbox (among core gamers, I’m not countint mobile gaming), so I’m not sure those “5 people” are that wrong.
Not really what I meant
Then elaborate
Some of you guys are doing the opposite of rewarding here on the XBOX GAME STUDIOS thread
There has been a lot of FUD spread from a certain direction about Game Pass either making Xbox games to fit a certain model and that there is such a thing as “Game Pass fodder”.
That the big Day 1 third party games this past year has been mostly of the AA co-op shooter variant has not helped combat that.
Hey I had three games on my list from XGS that counts.
Really? I have been very vocal about how much I enjoyed, even loved, Psychonauts 2, Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite this year. In this thread and many others. You do realize it is possible to separate issues, and to discuss both positive and negative things?
Not everyone has to be either cheerleading or doom-n-gloom all the time. There is also normal people who can hold more than one thought and opinion at the same time.
My top 3 for the year?
- Halo Infinite
- Forza Horizon 5
- Psychonauts 2
THE SHOCK.
God fucking forbid they put a lot of the type of games that do very well on the service, games that people are happy with getting, as well as publishers and MS.
I am literally someone who HATES those games because I don’t have anyone to play them with, and I don’t complain about them because I’m an adult who realizes I’m not gonna get everything for me specifically, I still get plenty of other games that I like a lot. It doesn’t matter what narrative people come up with, if the game is good it’s good, whether you like it or not.
Game Pass tremendously helps those type of games because they require a community and purchase risk, that is greatly minimized on Game Pass. Instead of being happy for them, you get bitter…
believe devs
In other news, Halo Infinite got an 8 from EDGE which is REALLY REALLY good.
